WARM & COZY

Yesterday Em got all cute, warm and cozy for her chilly day...

She also tried those little baby puff things for the first time and thought they were pretty yummy and fun to grab. :)

GRAHAM CRACKER

Em has been having a rough week. She has a cold so she's been all stuffy. I gave her a graham cracker and it made her happy. :)

LITTLE ARTISTS

The kids have done some more painting in the last few days....

A king in his castle...

They wanted to paint some little bird houses we got a while ago...

They also wanted to paint faces on paper plates...

SUNDAY FUN

Em wore another dress of Cali's on Sunday and looked pretty cute. We also went to Grandma's for dinner and Em looked so cute I had to take some pictures with her. So you get to see me too which is a rare treat! :)

I took this with my phone so I could instagram it...

The next two are pretty much identical but I like them both...

Aedan wanted to wear his sleeves on Sunday so he went and picked out his outfit. He picked a tank top and sweat pants to go with them. When he came out all dressed I had to laugh. It looked ridiculous!! I tried to tell him the point of them is to wear them under another shirt WITH sleeves but he didn't listen so I just let him wear it. We were just going to Grandma's afterall. :)

Em was sitting on the couch like a big girl playing with the remote and looked so cute. She was talking and smiling. :)
talking...

trying to eat the remote...

smiling...

BATH BUDDY

I gave Em Cali's little princess duck so she'd have a little buddy for bath time. She was pretty excited...

(pics are a little blurry. phone pics again)

PICTURES FROM OUR WEEK

Here are some photos from the week...

Em was sitting in her high chair holding on to Aedan's backpack like she wanted to head off to school with him...

Aedan has these "sleeves" as we call them. They are leg warmers/sleeves for kids. Cali has a few too but these are Aedan's and he loves them. He thinks it is such a cool idea and loves the guitars on them. He wore them to school and was showing all of his friends. :)

Some pictures of us girls...

The kids like to use my old phone to play with and the other day Cali was talking on it and said, "Siri, can you...?" I can't remember what she asked but it was pretty cute. Now that Geoff and I have Siri on our iPhones the kids are always wanting us to talk to her or they try to. :)

This is the adorable, happy, smiley face I wake up to every morning...

Lately Em seems to think she can go wherever she wants. We have to keep a constant eye on her because she gets around so fast and puts anything in her mouth. The other day she got under our kitchen table (minutes after I swept... whew!).

HOMEMADE BREAD

I've been baking and cooking a lot lately. I'm not sure what came over me a few months ago (probably Pinterest)  but all of a sudden I wanted to start trying new things and I decided that I really enjoy it! I've also decided that I'm pretty good at it! I've had a few tips from Geoff, of course, which has helped a bunch. My pantry is full of all kinds of stuff now and pretty much every night Geoff comes home to a yummy home cooked meal. This may not mean much to most people but for us this is big news. :) I've never been the "homemaker" type because I just never wanted to be. I still don't really think I am but when it comes to the kitchen... I've turned a new leaf! My family is enjoying it and I'm sure Geoff is too because it saves him from having to cook. I hope he doesn't get rusty. :)

One thing I found recently was a recipe for homemade bread on my friends blog (find it here) and it is so yummy! I've made a bunch of times lately because it's also easy. :) Geoff gave Em a piece of bread the other day and she was in heaven. :)
