TWO AND A HALF YEARS

Geoff's parents got home last month from a 2 1/2 year mission. They spent it in the Philippines teaching English and piano. They had a wonderful experience! We had planned to go up to UT for Geoff's family reunion in mid July and his parents flew home on July 3rd and at the last minute we decided we wanted to be at the airport with everyone else to welcome them home. We packed up really quick and took off. We were all a little tired and silly along the way...

But we made it! There were so many family and friends there and a few of them even made some awesome signs. It was pretty great! We were all excited to see them and there was lots of anticipation. We waited for them to come down the escalator...

We all went out to dinner to celebrate...

When we left Aedan and Cali were pretending the parking block was a train. They took it very seriously. Choo! Choo!!

BEACH DAY!

A bunch of my friends and our kids all met at the beach for some fun in the sun! It was a nice warm day. The problem was that I didn't think about the fact that I had some torn tendon stuff going on in my foot so when I started walking on the sand... ouch! Since we were already there, we stayed for a bit and I was glad because we all had a great time! Em LOVED the waves and had a blast!

The kids were completely worn out! They slept the whole way home...

When we got home, I iced my foot and rested it. It has since healed and is doing great!

Aedan spent part of his morning teaching Em some spanish. She was totally copying him too. She's going to be speaking spanish before we know it! haha ;)

Minnie's Salon is now open! These kids are quite the stylists! ;) I think some of these might be blackmail photos for Aedan later. Haha. When he was doing Cali's hair he said "uh... is this how you curl someone's hair?". He's such a great brother for playing girly things with his sisters.

Geoff is so great at playing games with the kids. He doesn't just play though, he teaches them to think and strategize without telling them the answer. I love that!!

She slept till 9 one night and I had to check to make sure she was still alive! She must've been super tired!!
