LET'S GO TO THE MOVIES...

I have been DYING to see Tangled but we've been so busy with Christmas stuff that we haven't had time so Mom and I decided that the week after Christmas we'd take the kids and go. I wasn't only excited for me but I was super excited to take the kids to their very first movie!!
I was slightly nervous about them getting restless or cranky but they were absolutely perfect! My Mom got everyone a popcorn so they sat there munching and were totally into the movie. I was pleasantly surprised that I got to sit and enjoy the movie too... no worries. :) After the movie was over Aedan said "That was cool! Now I want to watch Blues Clues and Spider Man!"

Oh, and the movie... FANTASTIC!! I totally loved it!

Cali all ready to go:

We got there about 1 minute before the movie started so I didn't have time to take any pictures before, and after Aedan wouldn't sit in his chair anymore for a picture. Cali would though so here she is!

There was a big movie poster thing outside our theatre and Aedan was amazed by it and wanted his picture with the lizard guy. Then Cali went over for a picture too.

Us in front of the theatre:

Then the kids saw a water fountain thing and wanted to watch the water...

Aedan was so good! He walked with Uncle Kevin, holding his hand all the way to and from the theatre (Cali was in a stroller).

SUPER COOL

Yesterday morning we watched Tinker Bell (Cali's choice... that's my girl!) in my room. Aedan came in to watch it with us and found a pair of my gloves. He already had some glasses he had found somewhere and he put the gloves on. He sat there like he was the coolest kid on the planet. It made me giggle so I got out the camera.

SO SQUEEZABLE!

I just love this adorable, squeezable little girl!

NEW BIKES!!

I took the kids out this morning to ride their new bikes...

Aedan had no idea how to pedal a bike so he gave up and started walking his bike around...

Cali can't reach her pedals (oops!) so she just scooted along happy as a clam...

Then Maegan came out with her bike and got him to start pedaling again. He did it! He's still learning but he did great!

MY CHRISTMAS!

I wanted to do a post about my Christmas this year because it was such a great one! I am truly spoiled! Geoff is seriously the most amazing husband I could have ever asked for.
When I went in to get the camera and everything ready for the kids to come in and see what Santa brought, this is what I saw:

I have been talking about wanting to sew and my Mom said that after Christmas was over she'd teach me. I've been excited to learn... especially since I've started making the headbands! So when I saw a sewing machine I got pretty excited!! It's a pretty nice one!

My Mom went with him to pick it out and then went and got me a sewing box and some sewing stuff to put in it. AWESOME!!!

Then he also went and got me some awesome new running shoes, shirts and socks! I've been wanting new shoes since I've started jogging and these are fantastic!

My presents didn't even compare but I did get him Galaxy Quest on BluRay which is a movie that we LOVE and love to watch. It makes us crack up every time! We still had it on VHS so he was pretty excited!

The kids drew on some ornaments for him and I put their pictures in them. It's pretty cute!

Aedan has been writing letters and names like crazy lately. He asks us how to spell things and then writes them. He can write his name and Cali's name pretty good now. He wrote them on Geoff's present...

It says "Aedan & Cali"

This says "To: Daddy"
(It's less legible but still pretty good for a 3 year old)

We had a great Christmas and I am very excited to start using my sewing machine!! We hope you all had a great Christmas too!

CHRISTMAS!!

This was our year to go see Geoff's family but plans didn't work out for that so we just stayed here and went to San Diego to spend it with my family. We started out the day at home. When the kids woke up we went to see if Santa had come by checking the plate of cookies and glass of milk...

Then we went to see what Santa had brought. :) The kids waited in the hallway while we went into the living room. They looked so cute sitting there.

We must have all been really good this year! The kids were so excited and loved everything. They had so much fun opening their presents from Grandma & Grandpa too!

After our Christmas morning we drove out to San Diego. It was fun seeing family. The kids had fun playing and got to open a few presents there. We put them in their pj's half way through the evening so they'd be comfy on the way home. Then Cali got so cranky we had to leave early.

Just thought this face was funny:

When we got home we let the kids play for a bit while we cleaned up and organized everything. Cali was trying to put the hats and shoes of her little dolls on herself. It was pretty cute.
