IPHONE PICS

The first few weeks of random stuff...

Matching Sunday dresses...

Em has been obsessed with headbands lately. She will take all of them in sight and put them on her head...

Playing peek-a-bo...

more headbands...

On days when I put some effort into my hair ;), I can be seen bending forward to put some product in it. Em LOVES to copy my morning routine...

Who knew pure joy and happiness could be bought for $5?? She giggled, laughed and squealed with delight over this Minnie (aka Mimmie) purse for the rest of the day.... and any other time she sees it after not having it for a little bit.

Em was leaning over the side of the couch and fell right off onto a tape thingy. The tape thingy broke under her head and she got hurt. Ouch!!

She was so excited to eat some pretzels that she immediately said "cheese" and waited for me to get my camera out. Haha

I put my cozy socks on so Em and Cali wanted to wear some too. My socks are a little big on them but it was totally fun to wiggle our toes together...

Em loves to put on my glasses. She's done it before, I know, but every time I love it...

I had my apron on the other day and Em was fascinated with it so I put Cali's apron on her. She was amazed that there was one about her size. There was some twirling and giggling.

THANKSGIVING WEEK

Geoff's brother Nick and his family came to visit us and spend Thanksgiving with us. The kids had fun playing together and Amy and I had fun doing some black friday shopping. ;)

Em and Kayla (her cousin) have never been around each other and been old enough to actually play until this time. Em was great at sharing her toys (she's not so great at sharing with her siblings yet) and even the ipad (this is shocking actually). It was fun to watch them play with and talk to each other...

We went to get some lunch and play at the park. The kids had a great time! Em climbed up to the slide even though she was a little nervous about walking across the wood planks. She went down the slide over and over and over again.

These two did some giggling and playing that was pretty cute...

(Em has a mouth full of cutie orange slices)

We kept Thanksgiving pretty casual but Em thought she'd still dress it up a little...

We didn't do anything fancy for our table or anything but the food was super delicious which was good because Geoff, Amy and I worked hard to make it.

I made my apple crumble pie that I love so much (and I'm not a pie person!) and Amy made a yummy pumpkin cheesecake (forgot to take a pic)...

The kids loved it and gobbled up their food. ;)

We recorded the Thanksgiving Parade so we watched it throughout the day. Kayla and Em were so excited over some of the floats. They would point and get all excited! They would also dance to the songs and it was so cute!

When it was time for pie I made some whipped cream and Em thought it was all for her...

Since "Black Friday" started at 6 on Thursday this year, we pretty much left right after the pie. We got some great deals and I stocked up on more movies/tv that I wanted. We went to bed super late and got up early and headed out to shop some more. Then we went to see Catching Fire (which was awesome!)

While we were gone, Geoff played "payday" with the kids and kept them busy at home...

Em loved the slippers I got for Aedan so she put them on her feet and wore them for a while...

We were keeping an eye on my friends dog so we brought her over for a bit so she wouldn't get lonely. While she was on the patio (we were eating), Em and Kayla were screaming, giggling and dancing by her.

On Saturday we headed over to the theatre to see Frozen (totally incredibly AWESOME!!!). The kids loved it and Emmy even let me watch the whole thing! She sat with Geoff and stood in front of us watching it. She stayed happy and entertained. Whew! I was so glad because I really wanted to see this one.

Olaf was hanging out in the lobby so we took some pictures with him (Aedan didn't want to be in any)...

and Em got a high 5 for staying being so good in the movie!

After the movie, Nick and Amy treated everyone to Panera and the kids wanted to sit by the fire. It was such a nice day so we did. Em and Kayla ate together and then played together a little...

Em and Kayla watched Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings together. Em was so excited when she saw Tinker Bell...

That night we did a date switch. Geoff and I went to see Thor and then Nick and Amy went to see it. It was a great way to get another movie in without babysitters. ;) When we got back Amy had put the 2 babies to bed, had the 3 older kids all tucked in watching a movie (sleepover in the living room!) AND she had cleaned the whole place! It was much appreciated! I'll movie swap with her anytime. Haha :)
