Little Lady in Red

Today Cali wore an outfit that her Great-Grandma gave her so I thought I'd take a few pictures so she could see her in it. Thanks Grandee for the cute outfit!

Favorite things...

One of my favorite things these days is watching Aedan and Cali play together. They love each other and it is so cute! Aedan plops down next to Cali all the time to hang out with her. The other day he was jumping on his mini-trampoline and wanted her to jump with him (which she obviously can't do by herself) so I brought her over and held her so she could "jump" with him. Then when Geoff got home they did it again so I took some pictures. Here they are playing together:

29 Palms

We went to 29 palms over the weekend to visit Geoff's family. On the way there the road has spots where it dips up and down and you loose your stomach. Aedan thought it was so fun and I put my arms up like I was on a roller coaster and so did Aedan. He was hilarious! He would say "weeee" and keep his arms up and laugh. I snapped a few pictures:

When we got there, Grandma got out some kites for the kids to fly. Aedan thought it was super cool. I flew the Tinker Bell kite of course, and so did Aedan. He didn't really now how to fly it so he'd just hold the string and run around. 

We went to church with the family so I took a picture of Cali in her dress of the week. I made the flower just for this dress:

My sister-in-law Amy and I were sitting out with the kids and Aedan was playing with his crayons. Cali somehow got ahold of the yellow and blue crayons and we thought it was funny that those were the crayons that matched her dress perfectly so I took a picture. 

After church we went to the park for a yummy bbq. Cali wore this cute jean skirt that I've been dying to put on her (girl clothes are so fun!):

Geoff ran around with Aedan which Aedan loved:

By the time we left for home he was so tired! Both kids slept the whole way home which was awesome!! We had a great time while we were there and it was fun to see some family that we don't get to see very often.

Geoff's Birthday...

For Geoff's birthday we went, with Lisa & Wade, to Famous Dave's for dinner. It's a really yummy bbq place for those who haven't been there. It was super yummy and fun!!

The waitress wrote Happy Birthday on a plate with BBQ sauce:

Geoff LOVES brisket which they have there so he was very excited about it. I told him it just didn't look right without sauce all over his face so I helped him out with that:

Then we all ended up putting sauce on each others faces:

Aedan and Cali were with us. Aedan enjoyed the yummy food and Cali just chilled the whole time:

This is our huge dinner we got for all of us to share (it's mostly gone):

They sang Happy Birthday to Geoff and brought out yummy ice cream:

Then we went back to Lisa and Wade's apt for Marie Calendar's Chocolate Satin Pie (YUM!!):

Happy Birthday to my best friend and the most wonderful husband a girl could ask for! I'm so grateful for all you do for the kids and I. You are the most amazing father and husband and I thank my lucky stars every day that we found each other and that I married you. I love you!!!

Flashback Friday!

Since it's still April, the theme is still the black tie stuff and I was racking my brain trying to think of any time Geoff and I have ever had to dress up thinking I would for sure have to dig out more old high school dance pictures or something and then I remembered that just a few months ago my bff Lisa got married and we had to dress up for that! Plus, since we were both in the wedding, Geoff wore a tux!! :) So, while I know these were just posted a few months ago, here they are again!

Guess who I ran into??

As you can see in the picture, I am ecstatic that I saw my baby brother tonight!! Kevin got to meet Cali for the 1st time and I was so excited about that. We love you Kev and are so glad we got to see you! Now go work hard!! :)

Another Park Day!

You would think that I would be able to leave my camera at home since I have so many pictures of the kids at the park by now. I debated it and then decided to bring it. Ridiculous? Yes!

So, here are some more pictures that I took at the park this morning. It's so fun to go hang out with the other Mommies at the park (we go every Monday so us Mommies can socialize while the kids play). The other thing I love is that when we get home Aedan goes right to sleep and is so tired that he sleeps great! So, me taking the kids to the park is purely selfish but I'm glad that the kids also have a good time. :)

Aedan dozed off a bit while on the swings. It seems to relax him for some reason. :)

So Cali has a few of these dresses that are so comfy! Plus, they are kinda short so they show off her adorable chubby legs!! I love it!!

Birthday Party at the Park

We went to our nephew's birthday party on Saturday and had some yummy burgers off the bbq. They had a slide so Aedan was a happy camper! Plus, he loves playing with his cousins so that was super fun for him too. I, of course, saw it as a photo opportunity. :)
