EM'S 1 YEAR PICTURES

Em seriously lights up my life. She is such a joy to have around! She's hilarious, snuggly, happy, fun and super cute. She really completes our little family and we love her so much.

At 1 she is:
31" long (90th percentile)
21lb 14oz (75th percentile)

Some things to add to her "can do" list are...
learning to walk (can take a few steps)
gives high 5's
drinks from a straw (especially one with a Del Taco strawberry shake in it!)
puts my phone up to her ear to "talk"
has 8 teeth and some molars coming through (OUCH!)

Here are her pictures!! Don't you love the bright colors?

Hers were also taken by Michelle :)

AEDAN'S 6 YEAR PICTURES

This kid is truly amazing! I am so thankful every day that he is ours. He is so thoughtful, sweet, smart and freakin cute! :) I love watching him write or draw (he's ambidextrous so it's amazing to me), I love hearing him speak spanish and I love watching him play with Cali and Em (especially Em because it's so sweet!). I even love when he's grumpy. :)

And she even got a few silly ones...

As usual, these were taken by the amazing Michelle :)

KRISTAL'S BRIDAL SHOWER

One of the reasons we went to Utah was my soon to be Sister-in-law's bridal shower. My baby brother is getting married April 26th!! I still can't believe he's old enough to drive so getting married is a little crazy for me. He is 24 so I guess I need to let him grow up a little. :) We are so excited and can't wait for the big day! We had the shower at my sister's house and her and my Mom did a lot of planning for it. One of Kristal's sisters helped also and it turned out pretty cute. My Mom asked Geoff to decorate the cake and make some goodies so we (mostly he) spent the day in the kitchen baking away. :) My sister Tammy and I ran to get Kristal some other presents (the AFTER the wedding kind. hee hee) and to get balloons for the shower. When we were getting in the car with the balloons, one of them popped right next to my head and all of a sudden I had this totally gross helium goop on my forehead. I was pretty grossed out. Who knew helium balloons had goop in them? Or was this just a random goopy balloon? OR was it not helium related at all but just something even grosser?? Either way... YUCK!

While we were at the mall I saw some shoes on sale and they were painting the shoes for free so I bought her the shoes and then had then paint Hello Kitty on them. She was pretty dang excited about them when I showed her...

The shower was a success and I think Kristal had a great time! I took tons of pictures, of course, but here are only a few of them...

The cake Geoff decorated for the shower...

The soon to be bride Kristal!!

Em came at the end... for some cake. :)

EM'S 1ST BIRTHDAY

Luckily I prepared myself for Em's first birthday because it was a tough one! Knowing she's my last baby made it really sad that she turned 1... especially because it went by so incredibly fast. We had a fun day with her. I spent the morning snuggling and kissing her cute face because it was her birthday. :) I also took some pictures of her, of course...

Michelle got out Stella's 1st birthday hat for Em to use...
(it was WAY to small for her head so we just took 1 picture)

We went to lunch at Cafe Rio for her birthday. She gobbled up her beans, rice, sweet pork and quesadilla. :)

Geoff brother and his family were so awesome and offered to host Em's birthday party. We wanted to have a party with everyone in town since there were quite a few of us around that week. :) Em LOVES Minnie Mouse so I got some Minnie plates and stuff and made a cake and cupcakes. We got some pizza and had fun with everyone there...

Eating pizza...

She loves her Daddy!

Her cake...
(I forgot to remove it from the pan before frosting it. Ooops!)

Getting ready for the cake!

Singing "Happy Birthday"...

She tried to touch the flame and Geoff blew it out super fast. Haha

She wasn't sure what to do with it...
(because the pan was in the way!)

Everyone enjoying their cake/cupcakes...

She finally tried a little of it...

I traded her cake for a cupcake. She liked that more...

Uncle Kevin playing with Em...

Cali and her cousin Zoe are only 2 months apart and don't get to play very much because we live so far BUT... they are so much alike and it's fun to watch them play. It's like watching twins run around together. They played dress up with Zoe's dresses and then let us take pictures of them...

Then on the way out Cali bowed like a true princess...
