TUCKED IN

Shhh! Aedan's animals are taking a nap right now. He read them a story, sang them a song and then tucked them in for a nice long nap.

P.S. Aedan is NOT still in his jammies. That's the outfit he picked out to wear today. :)

LONG LINE

Aedan has a gas station for his cars that he got for Christmas. I guess they all waited to gas up at the same time...

"Mom, the cars are getting gas!"

While walking around looking at toys, Cali turned a corner and saw a whole row of Barbie's!! There was an intake of breath and an absolutely amazed look on her face. Then she said (while walking down the row touching them all) "Barbies! Barbies! Barbies! I love it! Barbies! Barbies!". It was pretty dang cute and funny. I got out my iphone for a picture. She especially loved "Tangled" as she likes to call her.

BIRTHDAY MONEY

Aedan got some birthday money from Grandee (his great-grandma) and Aunt Tammy so we took him to pick out what he wanted. He walked up and down the isles and it was a tough choice but he finally picked what he wanted. A truck to hold some cars, and a bunch of cars. Anyone who knows Aedan knows this was the perfect choice for him! :)

Then he played and played. He hasn't stopped playing with them. He lets Cali play with him too. :)

Well, here are the official photos from the event photographers! I got the ones from Kevin and Grandpa & Grandma Laurie also. These are awesome!!

I think Kevin deserves to be first. He not only finished first out of all of us but he finished in the top 50!! He did amazing and we were all so proud of him!

My Granparents did amazing too! I love that they still go out and run marathons and do fun stuff like this. They are truly an inspiration to me! They are the reason I've gotten into running and now this kind of stuff.

Here I am!! I must admit that I am pretty proud of myself. This was so fun and I'm so glad that we were all able to do this together!!

AEDAN'S BIRTHDAY

We woke up to a delicious home made breakfast made by Grandpa...

We packed up and headed out. Thanks Grandpa & Grandma Laurie for such a fun weekend!!

We decided to stop at the Ghirardelli Outlet on our way home. They were letting people into the warehouse and had stuff up to 75% off so we grabbed a few things. We went there for some ice cream so my parents treated us to yummy sundaes.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my Grandpa's tuna salad sandwiches!! Since he knows how excited I get over them, he made some up for us to take on the road with us. He made lunches for all of us going home that day. It was awesome!!

While we were driving around over the weekend we noticed how pretty and GREEN it was! The abundance of rain must have made all the grass grow or something. On Sunday it was kind of foggy too. Here are some of the hills... look how green they are!

While we were at the Mud Run, my Mom watched the kids. She made a cake for Aedan too. We decided Saturday night was the best time to have cake and ice cream since we were all leaving Sunday. He really loved everyone singing to him and blowing out the candles.
