I've had a cold for the last few day which, thankfully, seems to be gradually getting better. In the meantime, I've been laying around like a lazy bum! I was bored and the kids and I were having tickle fights so they were being silly and I thought I'd capture a few smiles and giggles.
We went to the Dr's today (just a checkup for Aedan) and the kids found a snail outside. They were so fascinated by it! They sat there for a while watching it and talking about it.
Once again, I am a CALIFORNIA GIRL!! I know, I know... it took me a while. I checked the mail and found this baby in the mailbox! I am so excited to be back where I belong!
While we were at Mom's house today I found this... and was like "what the heck??" So, of course, I had to put it on!
This one is a little out of order. Cali was eating breakfast yesterday morning and all of a sudden she had to stop and go grab her sunglasses. She could not eat another bite without them!
Today at my Mom's, Aedan found one of Maegan's microphones. He usually will talk and sing in it without an ounce of shyness but for some reason today he was feeling it a little. So, he stood there looking bashful and said "um... what should I say?" but after a sec he started singing and dancing.
My Mom got a new car this week! She is so super excited about it too. We went over there for our Sunday dinner and she took us for a spin around the block. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color! The kids had so much fun hanging out in the back seat... especially since they didn't have to sit in car seats. We stayed residential so we let them just ride really quick. My Mom even swerved the car a bit to make it fun.
It rained today! I had to dig out some long sleeves for Cali and her boots. By the time church was over it was a beautiful day though. That's California for ya! :) She looked cute though so I snapped a few pictures before we left. She would not look at the camera but she posed for me. I was cracking up because Aedan was sitting there saying "Cali do this, Cali do this" the whole time and showing her how to pose.
One of my new friends Shonee is going to Hawaii for a few months. Her hubby is in Optometry school and for one of his rotations they get to go there... lucky!! So, some of us from church got together for a little Hawaiian goodbye party. It was fun! We got a group shot at the end before everyone left.
We saw my little brother the other day so he gave Aedan some presents. Aedan got so excited! He loved it all... even the clothes. :) He especially loved this firetruck and the game connect 4. The game is for ages 6+ but he plays it anyways and loves it.
Last week the kids played with my Mother's Day balloons a ton. There were many balloon fights and Geoff and I even joined them a few times. They had a blast!
