In my shoes...

Yesterday Cali kept putting my socks and shoes on and taking them off. She was so proud of herself. I thought it was hilarious that my ankle socks were like knee socks on her. When she was done, she sat with one shoe on and read a book. I tried to get a picture of her with both shoes on but she was so stinkin fast! She'd get them on and then she'd immediately pull them off. I just thought it was kinda cute. :)

Happy Birthday to the BEST HUSBAND EVER!!!

Saturday was Geoff's birthday!! The kids and I had fun wishing him a Happy Birthday and trying to make his day special. I gave Geoff an outfit that I got him so he could wear it. Him and Aedan did some posing for the camera.

I told Geoff he should pose like Batman since he was wearing a Batman shirt but we weren't sure how Batman would pose so he lifted Cali up like he was all strong and stuff but that wasn't really Batman so he just did a superman pose which Aedan tried to copy. Too cute!

He opened his presents. He really liked the movie Avatar and it happened to come out right before his birthday so I got it for him along with some other stuff.

We went to a new bbq place that he found (Geoff LOVES bbq) for dinner with Lisa & Wade. The service wasn't that good but the food was great! They sang Happy Birthday and brought out a yummy chocolate cake dessert that we all shared. YUM!!

We tried to get Cali to copy us and it worked.

The guys used the chocolate syrup to make it look like they were missing a tooth. Not sure where the idea came from but we were cracking up.

I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful husband that I don't deserve! Happy Birthday Geoff!!

Hot Pink Converse

A few months ago I found these pink high top converse clearanced super cheap. I was so excited that I grabbed them even though they were too big for Cali. Well, she happens to fit in them now and the other day she brought them to me so I could put them on her. I can't really decide if they went with her outfit or not but I couldn't resist taking pictures of her in them either way. It was her 1st time wearing them and even Geoff said they were super cute (he's a typical guy who doesn't quite get the adorableness of little girl things).

Super Sad Cali

Cali and I have had colds for about a week. On top of her cold, Cali is cutting her last teeth and she has been miserable! She woke up from her nap the other day and looked so sad and her hair was such a mess I grabbed my camera. Poor girl! She is feeling much better now and is getting over her cold. Now if those last 2 teeth would just come in already! :)

Play time

When my parents came for the weekend they brought Maegan's old play thingy with a little door and slides. I'm not sure what they're called. Geoff set it up yesterday and the kids played on it. They were so dirty when they were done they went straight to the bath!

Geoff is going to level out the backyard and put some sand or something because Cali scraped her back when she slid off the slide onto the ground. We have wood chips in our backyard (the previous people put them there for their dogs) so they give some horrible splinters and scrapes.

They wanted to go out first thing this morning so I put a onsie and jeans on Cali to protect her a little better and went out with them so they could play. They love it!!

Cali landed on her bum and didn't like it so much. :)

Baby Blues

My sister Tammy went to church with us yesterday and said that Cali's dress really made her eyes pop. I totally agreed. :)

After Cali woke up from her nap I got a few more pictures. Her hair was a cute little mess but she was being so silly and smiley. :)
