New Play area...

Lately it's taken Aedan forever to fall asleep at nap time because he starts playing with his toys. Geoff suggested we bring all his toys out of his room and section off part of the living room as a play area. So, we got a Superyard thing and Geoff screwed it into the wall to make a huge play area for the kids. We have an extra long living room and this area is perfect! I already have Aedan's books on the window seat (they never stay organized so I gave up) so that works out great. This is also great because Cali loves to roam around getting into everything and putting everything in her mouth. This way I always know she's in there and safe. The kids love it and Aedan's naps are back to normal. The other nice thing is that if Aedan's isn't in a sharing mood we just remove him from the play area and they can play separately for a while. It also folds in making it much smaller for when they aren't in it or when they go to bed. It is the greatest thing!

Sleeping Cali

Geoff checked on Cali last night before we went to bed and had me come in to see how she was sleeping. She had her blanket rapped around her head weird. It was pretty funny looking.

Talents...

We had a talent show at church last night and Geoff sang a song from Le Miserable and did a great job! I was video taping it (it's too long to put on here) so I didn't get any pictures. I took some pictures of Cali while we were there because she looked so cute in her little outfit. I decided that my talent is making cute kids! :)

She loves to stand and then fall back so you catch her and that's what she was doing here. She thinks it's hilarious.

Our little Picaso

The other night, Aedan was coloring in his coloring book and went into his room with it. He was being so quiet that we just assumed he was still coloring. Well, he was still coloring....

ALL OVER THE WALLS!!! Those are pictures of completely different areas of the walls/doors that he colored. It is all the way down our hallway on both sides. Plus, we got an extra special treat... he colored all over the tile floor that Geoff had just finished mopping (luckily crayon comes off tile floors pretty easily but not walls). I was pretty surprised that I didn't get mad, just irritated. We are slowly learning new things about being parents every day!

The Park!

On Saturday we took the kids to the park. We didn't go until after 5 so the weather was nice and not too hot. The kids had a good time getting all their energy out! :)

Geoff ran around with Aedan. It was so fun for Aedan to have Daddy at the park so he could show him what a big boy he is!

While Geoff and Aedan ran around, Cali and I just relaxed on the grass. Cali just munched on cheerios and chilled.

It was a fun evening and they were both worn out when we got home so they went to bed and slept good! Yipee!!!

So tall!

Look how tall she is getting! I can't believe how fast she is growing or how tall she is! She's already wearing 12 month stuff only because of those long legs of hers! Man... kids grow way too fast!

Clearance Baby

I got some shoes for Aedan and last night the clearance sticker was on Cali so Geoff called her our "Clearance Baby" which he stole from Marley & Me's "Clearance Puppy". I thought it was funny. :) I took a picture of her and her smile was so big her eyes were shut. She's definitely going to have her Mommy's eyes that shut whenever there are smiles or laughs. :)

Wii Baby

They need to make a Wii for babies! Every time I do my Wii Fit (at least when Cali is awake) she tries to climb all over the Wii board and then it messes me up. Yesterday she stole my remote and climbed all over it so I took a picture. She thought she was so funny (she's cracking up in this picture):

Tea anyone?

While Geoff and I were shopping last week, we went to this store "Janie & Jack" that is really expensive but has CUTE clothes! I went straight to the clearance section (yes, I'm cheap! How else do you think Cali has so many clothes though?) and found this dress that was reasonably priced. I thought it was so adorable and had to get it! It has little tea pots and plates, ect all over it.

I got Aedan a new shirt (from Target... much cheaper!) and he was being silly and smiley so I got some pictures of him also:

4 years of Bliss!

Yesterday was our 4th anniversary! We wanted to do something without the kids but close by. Geoff decided the Green Valley Resort & Spa was the perfect place and I agreed! He called his Mom who was happy to watch the kids for us (Thank You, Thank You!!!). We were so impressed with everything there. The staff everywhere we went was so friendly and it was a beautiful hotel. We had appointments at the Spa (which was mostly for me but Geoff came along and even got a massage!) which was so fun and relaxing... it was a spa straight from the movies! We also walked around "The District" which is an outdoor shopping center and even though it was hot outside we had a great time. It was fun to hold hands instead of push a stroller as we walked around. :) It was a perfect 2 night stay! We didn't have too much to capture on film but since we wanted some sort of proof we took some random fun pictures:

Geoff went earlier and put roses in the room so that I'd see them when I walked in....

The 1st night we got some smoothies and some burgers and then just relaxed:

The one thing we decided to do to make our 4th anniversary a little silly and fun (plus... more pictures!) is to find things that are in 4s.

It was harder than we thought to find 4s but it made walking around a little more interesting. We had a great time and were excited to celebrate 4 years of being married to each other. I couldn't ask for a better husband and father to my kiddos.
