4 years of Bliss!

Yesterday was our 4th anniversary! We wanted to do something without the kids but close by. Geoff decided the Green Valley Resort & Spa was the perfect place and I agreed! He called his Mom who was happy to watch the kids for us (Thank You, Thank You!!!). We were so impressed with everything there. The staff everywhere we went was so friendly and it was a beautiful hotel. We had appointments at the Spa (which was mostly for me but Geoff came along and even got a massage!) which was so fun and relaxing... it was a spa straight from the movies! We also walked around "The District" which is an outdoor shopping center and even though it was hot outside we had a great time. It was fun to hold hands instead of push a stroller as we walked around. :) It was a perfect 2 night stay! We didn't have too much to capture on film but since we wanted some sort of proof we took some random fun pictures:

Geoff went earlier and put roses in the room so that I'd see them when I walked in....

Here we are in our room. It was really nice!

The 1st night we got some smoothies and some burgers and then just relaxed:
(we laughed hysterically over Geoff in this picture)

In the morning Geoff ordered room service... french toast, potatoes, a muffin and scone:

This is the view from our window. They had an awesome pool with a mini-beach and wine grape vines. It was pretty cool:

There was a HUGE globe in the lobby so we just took pictures in front of it for fun:

We went shopping and found little tiny globes and thought we'd do the same:

Here we are resting from our long walk at The District:
(the camera was sitting on another bench. hee hee)

The one thing we decided to do to make our 4th anniversary a little silly and fun (plus... more pictures!) is to find things that are in 4s.

We happened to stay on the 4th floor which we thought was cool:

Here are all the things we found that there were 4 of:

4 lounging thingys out by the pool:

4 pillows on the couch:

4 palm trees outside our tower:

4 china cabinets in this hallway (2 in front of me, 2 behind me):

4 awnings:

It was harder than we thought to find 4s but it made walking around a little more interesting. We had a great time and were excited to celebrate 4 years of being married to each other. I couldn't ask for a better husband and father to my kiddos.
Thanks Geoff for the last 4 years of fun and for being my best friend!
