HALLOWEEN SNEAK PEAK

At Geoff's work they wore costumes. Geoff wore his costume but we weren't sure if anyone would know who he was so we took pictures of him with the kids really quick so he could show people. I wasn't in costume because I had just gotten back from my walk (trust me... you don't want to see that!) but you can have a sneak peak at Geoff, Aedan & Cali...

It was absolutely CRAZY finding a shirt for "Steve"!! I looked online and found one (a rugby shirt) for $55 and there's no way I was gonna spend that! So I searched and ended up finding one at Old Navy clearanced for less than $5!! I can't tell you how excited I was! I was so sad because we had decided we weren't going to dress up (no $$ due to so many fun trips this month and one next week). So, now we will be doing our family theme this year again (wahoo!!) and you'll see my costume later...

PUMPKIN PATCH

Last night we went to the pumpkin patch! The kids were super excited and had a great time! We didn't actually buy our pumpkins there because the prices were ridiculous but the kids got to ride mini-tractors, ride a pony, climb on some hay and run around looking at the pumpkins. It was pretty fun!

Nobody was working the tractor booth for a few minutes so we let the kids go in and ride it around. Aedan drove Cali around and she was a happy camper. There was a little boy who was sitting in another tractor but he was way too small to drive it so their parents asked Maegan to drive him around. The kid had a HUGE smile on his face the whole time and it was so cute!

I am amazed at how well Cali sits while I do her hair! Here's another cute 'do.

Monkeys and Horses

Last night the kids started jumping on Geoff's back saying "Monkey, Monkey!" I'm not sure whether the monkey was them or Geoff but they sure had fun! Then they wanted to play horses so they climbed onto Geoff's back for horse rides.

The kids wore him out! So... they gave him kisses to make him all better. :)

I like Cali's face in this one. She looks angry or something.

PLAID

I got this skirt for Cali and then Maegan got so excited because she had the same type of skirt. Both from The Children's Place but just slightly different. So, she wanted to be twins with Cali on Sunday. They did look pretty cute! Aedan jumped in for the pictures too. I got some pretty funny faces in these. :)

Muffins

I've been out of commission this week due to a ruptured ovarian cyst (Ouch!) so the kids have been pretty much watching tv/movies all day until Geoff comes home. I ran to Target last night and while I was there I grabbed some "just add water" muffin mix. I decided it was time for some Mommy time with the kids. So, for snack time today we made muffins!

First we put the little papers in the muffin pan:

Add water:

Mix it:

Scoop it into the muffin cups:

Lick the spoon (yum!):
