Christmas with the kids...

This year we decided to stay home and it ended up being pretty fun. We didn't do anything crazy since both kids are still pretty young. Aedan's Aunt Maegan gave him her play kitchen that was practically brand new so we made that a Santa present along with a "Rock n Play" Piano. He absolutely loved both and played with them all day. It was so cute! He always sees his daddy in the kitchen so he loves being in there and now he has his own kitchen to play with. No more re-washing pots and pans (hopefully!). :)
Since Cali is only a few months old I wasn't sure what to get for her so we just got her one of those play yard things. We got her the super girly one of course and she LOVED it! She layed there a good part of the day just looking at herself in the big flower mirror and kicking the other hanging things that make noises. It was so fun to watch her.
The highlight of my Christmas was talking to my little brother Kevin and hearing about how he's doing. I even got to listen to him and my cousin talk to each other in Spanish and it was pretty cool. Aedan talked to him for a few minutes also which was pretty cute. :)
Here are some pictures from Christmas morning:

Aedan also got some coloring books and crayons which he thought was cool:

Grandma got Aedan a book about 5 ducks and he thought that was the coolest thing ever! Here he is putting his cheek up to them saying "ooooh" and then a minute later said "Wow, wow, wow!" and then felt how soft they are with his finger and said "Nice". It was so funny. He loves books!

Here is Cali in her very girly play yard. She spend the day flirting with herself in the mirror. :) It was super cute:

We also had dinner with some of Geoff's family. Geoff made a really yummy ham with mashed potatoes and all that good stuff. He also made yummy cheesecakes for dessert! The family brought stuff also and it was all yummy! Aedan had fun playing with his cousins. Overall we had a great Christmas! I hope you all did also!

Merry Christmas Uncle Kevin!!

As many of you know, my little brother is on a mission for our church. I miss him like crazy and can't wait to talk to him tomorrow (Christmas)!
This year the kids got a little present from him and it's the cutest thing ever! "Little People" have made little missionaries and that is what he sent them. They even have the name tags and everything. So cute! Cali is a little small to hold hers yet so Aedan is having fun playing with his and hers in the mean time. Thanks Uncle Kevin for the perfect presents for the kids!! :) We love you!

This is Kevin before he left (isn't he so cute!):

Here's what the "Little Missionaries" look like:

Christmas Outfits

I took a few pictures of the kids before church yesterday. I got Cali and adorable dress and as usual wanted to show everyone how cute it was... and how cute she was in it! :) Aedan also looked all handsome in his outfit so I took a few with him too. Then I decided Geoff and I need more pictures together so there's one of us!

Lisa's Bachelorette Party!!

Last night was my adorable best friends Bachelorette Party! We decided to do it the same day as her shower so that her friends coming from out of town would only have to drive out once. Her sister and I are the Matron of Honors so her sister threw her shower and I got to be in charge of the bachelorette party! I wanted it to be super fun but it couldn't be too crazy since we are a bunch of Mormons. :)

I decided that I wanted her to wear one of those shirts that say "Bride" on it but I wanted to make it a little original so I of course turned to my very creative and talented husband who in about 5 minutes had my solution:

(It says "The Bride... Available for a limited time only!")

I then decided her bridesmaids should have shirts also and since the ones who were able to come were all married Geoff came up with this:

(These said "Taken! Offer expired 8/13/05" They each had our own wedding date of course)

Side note: Geoff does own a business where he does graphics and makes t-shirts so if you want any clever shirts let me know or go to www.neverbehind.com

I also decided I wanted to do one of those fun Bachelorette scavenger hunts where she has a list of things she has to do. Geoff put the list on the back of her shirt and I made a copy for her so she could actually see what she had to do. :)

We decided to go to Dick's Last Resort in Exalibur and it was really fun! It's a pretty crude place but they made it a fun night and our waitress was awesome! She saw that Lisa had a list and immediately went to work to help her accomplish it. By the time we left she had over half her list done so we finished the rest walking around the casinos.

Here are some pictures of the big night:

Everyone who was there: Lisa's sister Jean, Allie, Heather, Shaun, Lisa, me (and my sister Jen was there but isn't in the shot)

The wedding party who was there: me, Lisa, Jean & Jen

We were very excited that Elvis made an appearance:

There were 27 things that she had to do and unfortunately the funniest ones I have on video instead of pictures so here are a few of my other favorite things that she had to do.

Find the guy who has the biggest muscles and ask him if you can feel them:

Have a guy give you a condom:

Find a cute guy and ask him to practice walking down the isle with you:

Lightly spank a guy saying "Do you want another?":

Point down to your bum and tell a guy how much you love your bum:

Pretend like you are paranoid and ask a cute guy why they want you so bad:

Place a balloon under your shirt, walk up to a guy and tell him you think it's his:

And by the end of the night she had to get 20 guys to write their phone numbers on the back of her shirt:

And by the end of the night this is what her shirt looked like with all 20 numbers! Good Job Lisa!!

It was a really fun night and Lisa was such a great sport about it all! We had so much fun celebrating one of her last nights being single. I'm so excited for her to get married and am so grateful that she found such a great guy who is so perfect for her. Congrats Lisa!!!

And a few hours later...

A few hours later our back yard was covered in snow so I took Aedan outside again. He just ran around. It was hard to get pictures of his cute smiles because he was always looking down at the snow but he sure had fun!

Here he's showing me the letter "o" from his alphabet puzzle and saying "o"!
(he's learning the alphabet right now)

just running around...

cute smiles...
