Our weekend in California!

We went to California for my Great-Grandma's 98th birthday (see blog below) and while we were there I took a few (ok lots!) cute pictures of the kids so I thought I'd share.

Aedan was walking around my moms house with this HUGE orange from their tree. I just had to take a picture of him holding it:

Just a cute outfit on Cali:

Aunt Maegan with the kids (she LOVES them... and they love her too):

I guess now we know how Cali will look with hair... sort of :)

Cali is all about sitting up now. If she's laying down she tries her hardest to sit up by lifting her head. So, here's our big girl sitting up (with the help of  the couch of course):

I got this chair for Maegan when she was Aedan's age and she has loved it ever since. It's so weird to see Aedan sitting in it now. It's just his size! He was being so silly:

Here's that big orange again. He had that thing all day and even tried to put it in the bath. Crazy kid! :)

Random side note:
So sometimes wonder if I adore my kids too much. :) I am constantly taking pictures of them and giving them kisses. Luckily I have my friend Michelle who adores her little girl (who is super cute) just as much as I adore my kids (and doesn't mind showing it)... so I feel better. Thanks Michelle for making me feel normal. :) Also my friend Liesl is always telling me the more pictures the better so that's another good excuse to post TONS of pictures of my little cuties.

Happy Birthday Nana!

On the 20th my Great-Grandma had her 98th birthday! To celebrate a bunch of family all met at outback and then went to my Grandma's house for yummy cake. It was fun to spend time with them. We love you Nana!

Playdate at the park!

We went to the park with some friends earlier this week and it was pretty fun! Aedan, who usually doesn't know what to do at the park, was running all over and going on the slides. He had so much fun!

Aedan on the swings:

Aedan being brave and going on the slide all by himself:

Aedan and his little friend Alyssa on the slide together. Aedan was too busy talking to smile but Alyssa is all smiles! So cute:

Aedan, Alyssa & Cooper on the slide:

Aedan wanted to ride a bike after seeing all the bigger kids ride around. Britain was so nice to take him for a ride. He loved it:

Aedan found a steering wheel thing and was "driving" around:

A little seat just his size:

Thanks ladies for a fun morning... and Aedan thanks your cute kids!

Thriller

Well, I tried to put the Thriller dance on here but the file is too big. It's over 5 minutes long so I guess that's why. Just thought I'd let you all know in case you were waiting to see it. :)

Aedan getting his groove on...

Ever since Aedan was a baby I've taught him that when you hear music, you dance! I have this adorable video of Aedan at the reception (pics below) dancing with his Aunt Maegan (my little sister). I've never uploaded a video on here before so I'm testing it out. Enjoy!

That took forever to load so it looks like you'll have to wait to see us do Thriller! :)

Laughlin...

We decided to stay in Laughlin overnight with my parents after the reception. It was pretty fun. We went to brunch which was yummy!

Here is my mom with Cali at the reception:

Here's my dad with Cali at the reception:

We went to dinner and Aedan fell asleep (which is a miracle... he only falls asleep in the car or in bed) and all we had were Cali's blankets so we layed him in the stroller and put a few PINK blankets on him. I thought it was kinda funny:

Here's Cali's cute onsie that my friend Michelle gave her. It says "I'm having a NO hair day". I'm a huge fan of funny onsie's!

Here I am with Cali ready to go eat!

While we waited in line for brunch, Aedan was climbing through the line separator things. Geoff decided to play along and I thought it was fun to watch him climb through with no effort since he's so skinny. :)

Thanks mom & dad for a good time!!

Lisa's Wedding:

Friday afternoon was when Lisa & Wade were married! Yipee!! It was a beautiful day (we thought we'd be freezing!) and they looked amazing! Lisa was so gorgeous in her dress and I'll admit that I cried a bit during the ceremony. Geoff and I were honored that we were both asked to be in their line. I was a Matron of honor and Geoff was a groomsman. We took a ton of pictures but for some of them nobody is looking since they were posing for the photographer and we just stood close by and snapped some shots. Oh, and I was having the WORST hair day! My hair would not listen to me. I didn't even bother for the reception. :) Here they are:

Wade & Lisa:

Geoff took this one of them talking by a tree. They didn't know he was taking it and I think it's kinda cool:

I took this one of Lisa while the photographer was posing Wade. Doesn't she look amazing?

Here is the family: Wade, Lisa & Wade's boys Seth & Michael:

Geoff and I decided to take a picture since we were all dressed up and stuff:

Lisa's Reception

Lisa's reception was saturday afternoon in Laughlin, Nevada. It was in one of the hotels and turned out to be a fun time. It was so nice to see some old friends and get our groove on to some tunes. Lisa decided that she wanted to dance to "Thriller" like we did at my wedding so we re-learned the dance and it was hilarious! We didn't think about the fact that she had a train and this time our hubby's joined us and were right behind us during so right away Wade stepped on her dress and we cracked up so hard it completely threw us off for the rest of the dance. I have no pictures of this, only video so maybe I'll have to figure out how to put that on here when I get a few extra minutes. Overall it was super fun!

Here is Lisa & Wade posing all cute:

Here they are dancing to their first dance "Come what May" from Moulin Rouge:

Lisa and I spent a good amount of time choosing songs for the reception and when it came time to find one for the father/daughter dance she decided on the perfect one for them. It is "I loved her first" by Heartland. I had to hold back some tears watching her dance around him. It was like a scene from a movie.

Here we are dancing to "Footloose" and having a good time:

3 months!

Yesterday was Cali's 3 month Dr. apt (I can't believe she's 3 months old already!!) and she is super healthy! Go Cali!! Geoff was holding her all wrapped up in her blanket and I thought she looked so cute I snapped a few shots. She was just chilling.
Side note: why on earth do they make the babies strip down to their diaper and then wait forever in the cold doctor's office?

And here is Aedan waiting patiently:

This is what Aedan does to entertain himself while waiting for the doctor. He opens all the cupboards and then when we tell him to shut them he obediently obeys and goes to the next cupboard and does the same thing. At least he doesn't get bored right?

I was giving Cali kisses and Geoff said her face was so cute when I did that he wanted to take a picture of it. Here it is:
