Lisa's Wedding:

Friday afternoon was when Lisa & Wade were married! Yipee!! It was a beautiful day (we thought we'd be freezing!) and they looked amazing! Lisa was so gorgeous in her dress and I'll admit that I cried a bit during the ceremony. Geoff and I were honored that we were both asked to be in their line. I was a Matron of honor and Geoff was a groomsman. We took a ton of pictures but for some of them nobody is looking since they were posing for the photographer and we just stood close by and snapped some shots. Oh, and I was having the WORST hair day! My hair would not listen to me. I didn't even bother for the reception. :) Here they are:

Geoff took this one of them talking by a tree. They didn't know he was taking it and I think it's kinda cool:

I took this one of Lisa while the photographer was posing Wade. Doesn't she look amazing?

Geoff and I decided to take a picture since we were all dressed up and stuff:

Lisa's Reception

Lisa's reception was saturday afternoon in Laughlin, Nevada. It was in one of the hotels and turned out to be a fun time. It was so nice to see some old friends and get our groove on to some tunes. Lisa decided that she wanted to dance to "Thriller" like we did at my wedding so we re-learned the dance and it was hilarious! We didn't think about the fact that she had a train and this time our hubby's joined us and were right behind us during so right away Wade stepped on her dress and we cracked up so hard it completely threw us off for the rest of the dance. I have no pictures of this, only video so maybe I'll have to figure out how to put that on here when I get a few extra minutes. Overall it was super fun!

Here is Lisa & Wade posing all cute:

Here they are dancing to their first dance "Come what May" from Moulin Rouge:

Lisa and I spent a good amount of time choosing songs for the reception and when it came time to find one for the father/daughter dance she decided on the perfect one for them. It is "I loved her first" by Heartland. I had to hold back some tears watching her dance around him. It was like a scene from a movie.

Here we are dancing to "Footloose" and having a good time:

3 months!

Yesterday was Cali's 3 month Dr. apt (I can't believe she's 3 months old already!!) and she is super healthy! Go Cali!! Geoff was holding her all wrapped up in her blanket and I thought she looked so cute I snapped a few shots. She was just chilling.
Side note: why on earth do they make the babies strip down to their diaper and then wait forever in the cold doctor's office?

And here is Aedan waiting patiently:

This is what Aedan does to entertain himself while waiting for the doctor. He opens all the cupboards and then when we tell him to shut them he obediently obeys and goes to the next cupboard and does the same thing. At least he doesn't get bored right?

I was giving Cali kisses and Geoff said her face was so cute when I did that he wanted to take a picture of it. Here it is:

Aedan's hat

Aedan has been into his hat lately and loves to say "hat" over and over again while he's wearing it. So, this morning when he got up he put his hat on and showed me. I think he's so cute in it. It's way too big for him and sometimes his ears hold it up which I think is hilarious! Poor kid got my ears... good thing they look cute on him! :)

Cali's photo shoot

Ok, so I decided that since Aedan got a black & white photo shoot when he was almost 2 months old that Cali should have one too. Aedan's were so incredibly expensive that I decided to have a VERY amateur photographer do these. I think some of them actually turned out kinda good so I was hoping for some opinions. What do you think?

And since those were all so black & white I decided to add one I took of her last night when Lisa was making her laugh. She's all cute and colorful! :)

Cali's rolling!

Last night Cali was chillin on the rug and decided to roll onto her side! We were very excited but she didn't like the experience too much. :) It's so fun watching her grow! She is always smiling and cooing at us which just makes us adore her even more (if that's possible). Go Cali!!

And of course, here is a picture of her from last Sunday in another cute little dress:

She's kind of looking at me like "Not again Mom. This is getting ridiculous!" :)

Bachelor Party fun...

Saturday night was the bachelor party for Lisa's fiance Wade. I made them take the camera and take some pictures because they did something kinda unique and cool. They went to this place called "Mystery Adventures". They have some mystery you have to solve and they take you to 3 or 4 locations to solve it. This year it's the "Case of the absent heart" and the boys said they had to solve a murder. They were the detectives, they got clues and by the end they figured it out. Good job boys! Here are some pictures:

Adorable Cake!

So, as many of you know, I have the most talented husband (and obviously have no problem bragging)! Well, my sister-in-law Lyndsey and I are throwing a shower for our other sister-in-law Amy who's having a baby girl in a month or so and I wanted to have a fabulous cake for the occasion. Geoff hasn't actually ever made a fancy cake before but he learned how at Le Cordon Bleu so I knew he could. I told him I wanted a cake with pink polka dots and this is how it turned out:

Isn't it so cute? I absolutely LOVE it!! It turned out better than I imagined. I told him from now on he's making cakes for everything. :) Anyone need a cake? Let us know!

New Years!

For New Year's Eve this year we stayed home and had Lisa & Wade come over to celebrate with us. We put the kids to bed and then got out all the goodies and watched the movie "Galaxy Quest" which is an old movie but we think it's hilarious! Then we played some games and watched the ball drop. Aedan woke up about 5 minutes before midnight so we let him celebrate with us for a while before going back to bed.
We went to bed pretty late and woke up bright and early (thanks to Aedan). Lisa and I slaved over the stove (for about 5 minutes thanks to Pillsbury) to make yummy cinnamon rolls for breakfast. It was fun but Geoff and I realized how hard it is to stay up that late when you are parents of little ones. Then there's the exhausting next day because you only got 4 hours of sleep. Totally worth it to ring in the New Year with good friends!

Here's us with sleepy Aedan:

Here we are again... Yum! :)

Aedan also wanted to celebrate so here he is trying the Sparkling Cider:

We hope you all had a fun and safe New Year's Eve and have a Happy and Super fun Year!

Another cute dress...

Well, Cali wore another cute dress to church last Sunday. It's unusual that it's taken me so long to post the pictures but I have been pretty busy! I just love to put Cali in dresses and take pictures of her because I think it's so fun and girly! I waited until after church this time and that meant that, of course, she exploded in her diaper and I had to take off her tights and onsie that she wore under the pink one. So, in this picture she is barefoot which I also think is adorable but I just thought I'd mention that she was wearing pink tights with the cutest little black shoes.
