Our first 5K!!

Now, before you think this was super impressive... we power WALKED our first 5K yesterday. Our church put it together as a family event and it was super fun. We met on Saturdays to walk/run together and my friend Jana and I met a few other days a week to walk together. We are pretty great power walkers now. :)

So, Saturday was the big day! Geoff and I each pushed a stroller and walked at a pretty good pace for 3.1 miles. Towards the end Aedan wanted to walk and push his stroller so that slowed us down a tad but we still had a great time. At the finish, they had these "medals" they made for everyone who participated. It was pretty cool and the kids really loved it.
