Sand Hollow Dunes

Friday and Saturday we were at these dunes by St. George. We camped right by the lake and it was beautiful. The sand was a reddish color which I thought was weird, being the California girl that I am. Geoff's brother and brother-in-law had a bunch of "toys" to ride and had a great time! Geoff took Aedan in one of them (just around the camp... nothing crazy) and he loved it! They also did some fishing. Us girls mostly just talked and watched the kids run around. It was a pretty fun weekend.

Here are the boys with their toys:

Aedan in his Cars swim trunks ready to play in the lake:

His cousins loved playing with Aedan which he loved. He had so much fun playing with them in the water. Here is is with Molly & Abi:

This is a picture I took of Molly & Abi that I think is kinda cool:

Here's Cali just hanging out:

The guys all went fishing so Geoff took Aedan with him. He was so excited to go with Daddy:

They caught a whole cooler full of fish and Geoff helped his brother-in-law Diven gut them and cut them up. Yuck!

Cali got to meet some cousins she's never met before but she was most excited to meet little Heather. She knows they'll be buddies someday:

I got Cali a swimsuit for the weekend (and the summer in case she swims):

Flashback Friday!

May’s assignment: Since so many people get married during the month’s of May and June, I have designated May’s theme as “Going To The Chapel”. So get out photos of your wedding, your sibling’s wedding, your best friend’s wedding; heck, you can even post photos of bridal showers, bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, and honeymoons if you’d like (just remember to keep them family friendly).

So this is a little late because I was out of town Friday and Saturday. I planned to do it on Thursday night but I had a ruptured cyst Wednesday night and was out of commission for a few days and totally forgot. I'm just using pictures taken by my parents this week since it's easier. So, here it is finally:

A few of the wedding "Traditions":

I don't have pictures on disk of the bouquet & garter toss and my camera is full but Lisa caught the bouquet and Kevin caught the garter:

I love this picture of Geoff and Kevin:

The coolest park ever!

Ok, I know I've posted a million park pictures and I didn't plan on taking pictures this time but today we went to the coolest park! It had 2 fun playgrounds with shade (yeah!) and a huge water area with water spouts for the kids to run around in. They also had these cool swings that I've never seen before. I took a ton of pictures:

They had a car & a plane that you could sit in and drive and it moved around:

Here are the swings that I think are super cool:

Aedan fell asleep again... but then why wouldn't you in such a comfy seat?

Cali was just hangin out the whole time. Her new favorite thing is to grab her feet:

Aedan was kinda funny with the water. He just stood there getting wet and then this one spout turned on (they turn on and off randomly) and it got him and the look on his face was hilarious. I got the end of it:

Here's what he did most of the time: Just stand there getting wet and pointing at the water. He thought it was pretty cool.

Cute stuff:

I can't believe Cali is already in this dress! I got it before she was born and love it but thought it would be forever till she actually wore it! The time sure flew by and now here she is:

I made another flower for her headband to match the dress:

King Putt

Last night we went on a triple date with Geoff's brothers and their wives. We went to "Raising Caine's" for dinner and then mini-golfing! I haven't gone miniature golfing in years and this place was pretty cool. It was indoor and was all florescent with black lights and stuff. So, not only was the lighting cool, but it also showed us how much lint we had all over us! I took a bunch of pictures....

I took one picture without the flash just to see how it would turn out with the black lights but since the shutter speed was slow it turned out kinda blurry so the rest of the night I just used the flash. I thought I'd put the non-flash picture on here just so you can see what it looked like for real. This is Nick, Amy & baby Hailey (in the stroller):

Here's Tom & Lyndsey:

I thought this turtle was pretty cute:

I really like this picture of Amy & Hailey:

Geoff & the squid:

I took a picture with Mr. King Putt himself:

Geoff thinking he's so cool with his hole in 2:

I know you're dying to know who won out of the 6 of us! Well, it was Geoff! It was pretty fun and we plan to do it again... I want a rematch! :)

I finally put the logo on here so you can see the link. :)
So since I have 5 Fridays to Flashback and I'll probably do them all about my wedding since that's more fun, I will just do some of my favorite pictures this week. Some of them are pictures of pictures so they look a little funny but here are my favorites...

I have to include a few of Geoff and I of course:

Here is a picture of us with all of my siblings except 1. We are the original 5 since Maegan came many years later :) and we are rarely all together at the same time so I've always liked this picture.

This is one that was taken while we were greeting people and I love it because I'm cracking up at something and you can see Geoff in the background laughing too:

This is Maegan, the youngest sister who was my adorable little flower girl. I just love this picture!

This one has it's own page in my photo album because it cracks me up. I guess Geoff forgot to bring black socks to wear with his tux and only had white ANKLE socks with him. Instead of telling me so we could run and get him a pair of socks (how hard would that be?) he just wore these and I had no idea until I saw this picture that my brother-in-law took. I was horrified at first that he had worn these but then cracked up because well... that's so Geoff!

This next picture is of Lisa and I dancing to Thriller. I can't remember what made us decide to do it but we spent the few weeks before my wedding learning and practicing the dance from the music video and then did it at the reception. It was so much harder to do in a wedding dress but was so fun! We did it again at her wedding a few months ago.
