Flashback Friday!

Ok, so my friend Heidi does this Flashback Friday thing and it is fun to see her old pictures and made me want to do it. So, we'll see how this goes but I'm going to try to do it. :) I took pictures of pictures so it looks a little funny.

I don't know where she gets the rule for the month but I copied it from her blog:

The Rules: April’s assignment: Because April is when a lot of high schools hold their proms, I have dubbed April’s theme as “Black Tie Affair”. I would love to see photos of you and/or your family dressed up. It doesn’t necessarily have to be “Black Tie,” but rather it can be any occasion that calls for you to be dressed up a little more than usual: prom, formals, theater shows, balls, parties…you get the general idea.

Happy Birthday Kevin!!

20 years ago tomorrow my baby brother was born! I'm so grateful for him and his wonderful example he is to me and to my kids. I love you Kevin!!

Cali kept grabbing the sign and trying to play with it which Aedan thought was funny. The last one is my new favorite picture of them! :) Just a side note: those overalls she's wearing are the very first thing I bought for her. I fell in love with them before I knew she was a girl but was good and decided to wait to buy them. Once I knew I ran and got them.

Easter Sunday

Instead of hiding Easter Eggs all over my parents always hid the Easter Baskets and we would wake up and find them all over the house. This year it was fun to watch Aedan and Alexis (his cousin) find their baskets. Cali's basket was just on the floor with her blanket over it so we just layed her on the floor right by it and she grabbed for her blanket and... there was her basket! It had some cool little toys for her in it that she loves! It was so fun! We went to church with my family and it was so fun to see people I've known since I was a kid. Then we had a big Easter dinner that was super yummy and since it happened to by my little sisters 7th birthday also, we had delicious cake and opened some presents too! It was a fun day!

Bubbles! There were bubbles in the kids' baskets so Grandpa blew bubbles for them and they were so excited:

Aedan wore a new little outfit with a tie and vest that I thought was so cute on him! For Cali I just picked one of the dresses she already had since she has so many anyways. I think this was the first dress I bought for her and she looked cute as usual. :)

Maegan got a present from our brother Kevin who's on his mission. The 1st picture is of her surprised look when she saw it was from him. She wasn't expecting it so she thought it was pretty cool. She loved her Barbie movie from him and we got her one also so she was pretty excited!

Right before we left Aedan & Alexis were running around in the front yard having fun. Aedan was very sad to leave.

Easter Weekend...

We went to California for the weekend to spend it with my family. My sister and her family were there also so it was pretty fun. Aedan and Alexis (her daughter) are the same age and they played so good together and had so much fun! Aedan loved having a little playmate all weekend. 

We stopped at my Grandparents house on the way to my Mom's. They love seeing the kids and my Grandma made some Hot Chocolate for us which Aedan thought was yummy:

We dyed eggs this year! Aedan had a good time with his egg and I took a million pictures. These are some of my favorites. 

He kept dipping the egg and then putting it in his mouth! So nasty!
