O.C. FAIR

We went to the Orange County Fair for our annual old fashioned picture and fair fun. Geoff's work is awesome and takes all their employees and their families there each year. The kids love all the fair treats! This year we didn't do rides because we had Em with us and we only stayed for a few hours. Here are the pictures from this trip...

Cali playing with Em in the stroller

Aedan waiting for a hot dog

Geoff and I
(We used the flip screen to take the picture and I was looking at that instead of the lens. duh!)

Cutie Em in her stroller

Turkey leg!

Cali's lips and tongue turned super red from her shaved ice

Aedan's tongue turned a little purple :)

Looking at animals

Toyota had a setup of cars there so we stopped by just for fun. They had a simulation ride thing so Geoff and the kids did it. They thought it was pretty cool.

Em chilled with me while they did that. :)

When it was over...

Checking out the cars

We all got ice cream. I got a frozen banana and the kids got cones.

SO CHILL

So... we have the coolest baby ever! She is so chill! She sleeps great, plays with her toys and is so happy all the time. She's been teething lately so there's been lots of drool but she's still been pretty happy. You'd never know she was teething. :)
Here are some pictures of her just chillin...

Pretty much right after I took these she had a major explosion that ruined this onsie. She's good at that! :) Luckily it's an old hand-me-down from Cali so I just thew it away and gave her a bath.

A BATMAN & A BUTTERFLY

So I think the kids know that when I'm feeding Em I am not going to be checking on them for a while and they take advantage of that to get into some mischief. :) I checked on them the other day and this is what I found...

Aedan had drawn on both of them. I guess he was Batman and Cali was a butterfly. He drew a mask on himself (luckily he didn't try to color it in) and on her he drew antennae (on her cheeks) and wings (on her arms). They were pretty proud of themselves until they saw that I wasn't too happy about it.

4 MONTH APPOINTMENT

Em had her 4 month appointment last week. She was all smiles for the doctor! She did so great... even when she got her shots. :( She cried but not for too long and then she was fine.
So, here are her stats:
14lb 13.7oz
25.6" long
She's pretty big! We can't get enough of this cutie little girl. :)

iphone pic I took in her carseat...

Aedan and Cali were there too, of course. I'm pretty lucky to have such good kids... otherwise going anywhere with 2 toddlers and a baby would be a nightmare!! :) I thought it was cute that they both fit in the chair. They are so little! :)

MOON SPARKLE

So, Geoff and I have been talking cars lately. "Honky" (aka our Passport) is getting old. Last year we spent a small fortune on gas driving Aedan to and from school and this year I'll be driving Aedan & Cali. Cali will go to Aedan's old preschool and Aedan will be going to school in Anaheim because he got into the Dual Language Immersion Program (they teach in Spanish & English) at a different school. This will mean even more driving around. Since we know we are only having 3 kids, and we know they fit in a smaller car we've been talking about getting a newer car with better gas mileage. Geoff found it! He got me a 2010 Toyota Camry and it is awesome! It's a dark shimmery green and the kids have named it "Moon Sparkle". I love it and feel all fancy when I drive it. :)

Introducing... Moon Sparkle! We love her!

And now we think it's pretty funny that we both have Camry's....

His & Hers Camry's :)

MY GIRLS

Today both girls were so cute in some new dresses (I know... you hear this EVERY week!).

She looks like a prisoner but it's Navy, not Black. :)

My cutie girls...

It is common on Sundays to see Em showing off some tummy. I put a dress on her and she immediately grabs it to put it in her mouth. How does she know? :)

WHITE FLOWER

About a month or so ago Geoff's van pretty much died. So... we sold it for super cheap (don't worry, we told the guy what was wrong with it and stuff) and he bought a 2000? Camry that he is totally loving (the kids named it "White Flower"). He got it for a great price! It had a few little things that needed to be fixed and he spent yesterday working on them. It's all fixed and ready now and when Geoff came in when he was all done, he was covered in black grease. I was like "woa!" and grabbed the camera. :)

His hands aren't greasy cuz he wore gloves... maybe he should've worn long sleeves too! :)

R.I.P. Old Blue (the name the kids picked for the van)...

4 MONTHS OLD!

Em is growing SO FAST that she is already growing out of her 3-6 month clothes and heading straight into 6-9 month ones! Holy Cow right?!?! She's only just barely 4 months old! Isn't your last kid supposed to grow the slowest so you can enjoy it longer?? :) It was totally fun to put her in this old outfit of Cali's though. I was so sad thinking she wouldn't get to wear Cali's cute 6-9 month summer stuff because they were born on opposite sides of the year. Careful what you wish for folks!

So, at 4 months...

She LOVES to smile!!
She LOVES to sleep!
She LOVES her toys!!
She's VERY ticklish!
She is a pretty happy baby (lately she has been a little sad due to teeth coming in but most of the time you wouldn't guess that she's teething)
She very much enjoys sucking/chewing on her fingers/hands... especially her thumb! :)
She also enjoys listening to her Daddy sing to her.
She likes to put her dresses, blankets, ect into her mouth.
She's FINALLY getting interested in rolling over. So far it's just interest. :)
She still loves to stretch after waking up from naps or a long nights sleep (seriously so cute!)
She really likes it when her big brother and sister talk to her or play with her. It makes her smile and laugh (her laugh is the cutest thing!).

We love our little Em and can't imagine life without her. She is an amazing, adorable addition to our little family.

And a few with Daddy just for fun...

SWIMMING WITH FRIENDS NEW & OLD

Since we moved a few months ago we've gone to our new church building and met our new ward. Everyone has been super nice and friendly so we're pretty happy there. We've already been invited over to ice cream, dinner and last week for a fun lunch/swim! We were the first ones there to go swimming but a few minutes later some peeps showed up and one of them brought my friend Whitney from my OLD ward! It was so fun to see her there because it was a familiar face amongst new ones. We had a great time and it was fun to get to know some new ladies. Aedan was super excited when his friend Dallin (whitney's son) showed up so he got to play with an old and new friend also! Em and I just chilled while the kids swam.

(I have no idea what Cali is doing in the next two. She might have been singing)

I couldn't find Aedan's floaties so I had him wear these other ones I'd gotten and hadn't returned yet. They totally turned his sides BLUE! It was funny so I tried (unsuccessfully) to get a picture of all the blue...

BANGS OR NO BANGS... THAT IS THE QUESTION

I've been debating lately about Cali's bangs. She's had bangs for a while now and they are cute and all but I want to do more with her hair and in order to do that she needs to grow her bangs out so I have more to work with. So... that is how the debate got started. It's not the best time to grow bangs out since school starts in less than a month and she'll need to NOT have hair in her face. :) Luckily I haven't cut them in a while because I was hesitant. Now I think I've decided to grow them out and just deal with the annoyance of it all for a while.
Any opinions on the subject??? You've probably seen all the recent pictures WITH bangs but here are a few without from the other day...
