CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

A group of friends went up to the LA Temple last night to see the Christmas lights. We drove up to meet them after the Christmas party. It was beautiful and the kids loved it! I can't seem to get Christmas lights to show up like they should in pictures but I took a bunch anyways.

There was a little choir singing Christmas songs which we listened to for a bit but Cali was a little antsy so her and I left and walked around looking at lights. She was cracking me up because she'd walk 2 feet and then stop and say "Right here. CHEESE!" with her little pose. So, I took a bunch of her and there are only a few of Aedan because he joined us later and then there were so many kids they were too busy looking at the lights together (and I was too busy socializing. :))

blurry but cute :)

WORK CHRISTMAS PARTY

Last night was the Christmas party for Geoff's work. When they sent out the announcement they told everyone to dress as their favorite Christmas character. So... I made Geoff into Frosty the Snowman and then it turns out NOBODY did it because they were just kidding when they did it. Geoff was such a good sport about it. We saw before we went in that nobody else did it and he still walked in as Frosty and everyone LOVED it.
We totally love where Geoff works! They are so amazing and they planned a really fun Christmas party. They had gift bags for all the kids, Santa hats for everyone to wear, raffles and a photo booth (Those seem to be popular right now. It's fun!). I don't have many pictures from the party but I'll try to get our photo booth pictures scanned to add later and I'll probably get some from his boss. The kids each won a raffle prize (Aedan won a game, Cali 2 movie tickets) so they thought that was pretty cool.

Aedan wanted to wear the snowman stuff:

Here's Frosty!

PENGUINS

A while ago I got Cali these adorable penguin leggings perfect for "winter". They are her size but she's so dang skinny they are huge on her. I still had her wear them though because she was so excited about it. Aedan was in desperate need of some new church clothes so thanks to some great deals at The Children's Place (LOVE them!) his whole outfit is new! He has the same problem as Cali (too skinny!) so his pants are slightly big but... they work and he'll grow into them (crossing my fingers).

DECORATING

Aedan has been wanting to decorate for Christmas for weeks! We decided Sunday would be the day. After church Geoff got out all our Christmas stuff. We let the kids put the ornaments on the tree by themselves which means they are all in little groups at the bottom of the tree. I put a few on top but that's pretty much it. We left it that way. I haven't taken a picture of the whole tree yet because I need to finish putting the other stuff on it but here's what I got...

SWEATER DRESSES

I love sweater dresses! I think they are so cute! I got 2 for Cali recently and she looked so cute in one of them on Sunday. Aedan also wanted to take some pictures. :)

CHRISTMAS PARTY

Saturday night we went to our wards Christmas party. The kids were SUPER excited to wear their Christmas shirts! The party was pretty fun. There was all kinds of goodies as well as hot chocolate and hot apple cider. Yum! There was also a special visitor who came to see the kids. :)

All of us at the party...

The kids both had an ice cream cone...

When it was time for Santa to visit the kids all sang a Christmas song to bring in the Christmas spirit. It was pretty cute...

 Aedan with Santa

They took pictures of all the families...

After the party, "Santa" came over and told us that when he went to leave (as Santa) Aedan ran over and asked him "Where did you park?" so he told him he parked on the roof. We had a good laugh. (Sometimes Aedan asks people where they park or what kind of car they have. He's totally a car kid!)
