Geoff got an ipad2 which he is seriously super excited about! His work bought him one as a thank you for all he's done. His work is totally awesome by the way. :)
So, he brought it with him to my parents house last night (he cooked my Mom and I dinner for Mother's Day) and the kids all had a blast playing with it. He showed them how to use the camera to distort their faces and they went to town with it. They were hysterically laughing at how funny their faces look. All the giggles were making my Mom and I crack up.

JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH!!
I hope you haven't had enough of Aedan's posing because this morning he ran out with Cali and I for another round of poses. I seriously can't get enough of it!
Cali wore a new dress today and I made some flowers to put in her hair. I know... I actually did her hair today!! I haven't done it in a while (since she got bangs). She was all excited to go out and take pictures and then when we got outside she got all shy and didn't want any pictures. She did sit with Aedan for a minute though and then I did get a few of her.
Then Cali was playing hide and seek with Aedan. She would duck down in plain site and say "Come find me!". We thought it was pretty funny.

MOTHER'S DAY
The kids came in this morning with cards and a bunch of balloons. Each balloon had a letter on it which spelled out "HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY". We had a fun time throwing balloons around.
And of course Geoff got me some absolutely GORGEOUS flowers too! I know what you're thinking... he already got me flowers! That's what I said but he says that's different because the other flowers are a plant. I'm ok with that. :) These flowers are so fragrant and make our whole apartment smell so nice!

HUGS!
Last night we went to a spaghetti dinner at the church. The kids ran around with their friend Makenzie and had a good time. All of a sudden they started hugging and I caught one of the hugs with all 3 of them. It was too freakin cute!!

FATHER/SON CAMPOUT & GIRLS NIGHT
Friday night was the Father/Son campout. Geoff and Aedan were pretty excited about it so they decided to go. We packed up our little tent, some sleeping bags and goodies and off they went! Geoff said that Aedan had a great time!
Aedan wanted his animals to sleep with so Geoff said "Let's see what Mom packed for you". Inside his bag was his dog Geoffrey (yep... he named his dog after his Daddy.) and Pablo (Backyardigans). He was soooo excited so he hugged each of them.
Then he played some games on Geoff's new ipad2 (he's super excited about that!) before bed.
In the morning they got dressed and Aedan had to stop for a pose in front of the tent. Man... I love this kid!!
Then they went to eat some breakfast with the other fathers and sons. Aedan just chilled talking to everyone. I guess all the guys got a huge kick out of him. They all let me know at church how cool he is. :)
While the boys were gone Cali and I had a girls night! We read some books and then got some pillows and our blanky's and got all comfy to watch Tangled and have some ice cream...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!
This morning I took the kids to a favorite flower shop of mine to get some flowers to deliver to Grandma for Mother's Day. They didn't have a great variety but the kids were very excited and I let them pick which one they wanted to give her.
They picked a cute basket of flowers which Aedan carried inside her office and gave it to her with a balloon. She was very surprised and excited.

DIRT
Today the kids wanted to go outside and drive some of their cars in the dirt. Aedan packed up some of his cars (just to walk down the stairs) and set up a little area by the big tree outside. He had a great time driving the cars around in the dirt and over all the roots from the big tree. Cali just played along or ran around.
Aedan saw me taking pictures and said "wait Mom, the sun is in my eyes." Then he stood up and posed for me. This kid cracks me up!
Then after all the playing in the dirt, the cars were dirty! So of course, they needed a bath! Aedan and Cali washed all the cars and then laid them on a towel to dry.
TIP: Don't let your kids give their toys a bath without supervision unless you want a pool of water on your sink and floor. Seriously!
