Christmas Eve Fun...

These 1st few pictures are just random ones from the week:

Cali found Aunt Maegan's camera and started to "take pictures". She would hold up the camera just like this and say "CHEESE!!"

The kids enjoyed being spun around in this chair quite a bit. They would crack up and want to spin as long as someone was willing to do it.

For Christmas Eve my Mom and sister Tammy had a few activities they wanted to do. My Mom had gotten some of the kids aprons and Tammy's kids got aprons for Christmas from their other Grandma so my Mom wanted to bake cookies and decorate them with the kids wearing their cute aprons. So, we put all the kids in their aprons and baked some cookies.

Grandma baking with all the Grandkids:
*no children were burned in the making of these cookies (the oven wasn't actually on)

Once the cookies were baked all the kids decorated them and left them on a plate for Santa.

Tammy wanted to continue a tradition that had sort of died out. We used to go to my super fun Grandpa's for Christmas Eve when we were kids and they would get out all of their Muppet puppets and we'd sing the 12 days of Christmas (like John Denver did with them). It was always so fun and a great tradition! We haven't done that since we all grew up so Tammy made a bunch of puppets to look like the different muppets and we did the 12 days of Christmas.

Then Mom got out the package of pajamas for the kids (My Mom started a tradition where Mrs. Clause drops off jammies on Christmas Eve). Aedan LOVED his jammies that my Mom had made for him because they were CARS jammies.

I got Geoff Superman jammies because he's my super hero! :)

Meeting Lily and visiting Santa!

The kids and I left yesterday for Utah to spend the week with my family. This year we're doing Christmas in Utah since my sister just had her baby. I wasn't sure how the drive up to Utah would go since we left Geoff at home (he is driving up with my step-Dad Christmas Eve) and it's a long drive but the kids did great! They slept 1/2 the time and watched their dvds the other 1/2. Yeah!!
Today we went to see Santa with my Mom, sister Tammy and all the kids and then went to the play area in the mall for a while so the kids could play. They had a great time and are now fast asleep taking their naps. I am so blessed to have such great kids!!
So, last night I got to meet my new niece Lily finally! I've only taken a few pictures so far so here are 2 of them...

Meet Lily:

Santa!!

Aedan was so excited to meet Santa! Cali on the other hand didn't care who Santa was... all she knew was that it was past her nap time and she was TIRED!! So, at first Cali cried but after a minute she just seemed ready to be done with this Santa stuff and go home. Aedan was all smiles! Here is our Santa picture this year:

It had a big red bag where all the kids could put their letters to Santa and it was so cute we took pictures in front of it.

Maegan and Aedan walked together to the play area holding hands and it was so cute! They love playing together.

They had a big tree house and dinosaur bones which the kids loved!! Here are the kids playing. I even got them to pose a few times (with Maegan's help).

Christmas Sunday

So today was the day the kids wore their Christmas church outfits. Aedan just wore a red sweater and Cali wore an outfit I found and loved. It isn't really Christmasy but I think it works. They both looked so cute (at least I think so). :)
Aedan has been so excited to see his Aunt Maegan for Christmas so when I wanted to take pictures of him I asked him if he wanted to take pictures to show Maegan his red sweater. It worked like a charm! He smiled and said cheese a whole bunch!

I woke Cali up early from her nap to get her ready so it took her a few minutes to even smile. She still had red marks on her forehead from sleeping (it's hard to tell in the pictures) but she still looked cute! I didn't really get a good one of her whole self because she was squirmy but you get the idea. :)

We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!
