4 years of Bliss!

Yesterday was our 4th anniversary! We wanted to do something without the kids but close by. Geoff decided the Green Valley Resort & Spa was the perfect place and I agreed! He called his Mom who was happy to watch the kids for us (Thank You, Thank You!!!). We were so impressed with everything there. The staff everywhere we went was so friendly and it was a beautiful hotel. We had appointments at the Spa (which was mostly for me but Geoff came along and even got a massage!) which was so fun and relaxing... it was a spa straight from the movies! We also walked around "The District" which is an outdoor shopping center and even though it was hot outside we had a great time. It was fun to hold hands instead of push a stroller as we walked around. :) It was a perfect 2 night stay! We didn't have too much to capture on film but since we wanted some sort of proof we took some random fun pictures:

Geoff went earlier and put roses in the room so that I'd see them when I walked in....

Here we are in our room. It was really nice!

The 1st night we got some smoothies and some burgers and then just relaxed:
(we laughed hysterically over Geoff in this picture)

In the morning Geoff ordered room service... french toast, potatoes, a muffin and scone:

This is the view from our window. They had an awesome pool with a mini-beach and wine grape vines. It was pretty cool:

There was a HUGE globe in the lobby so we just took pictures in front of it for fun:

We went shopping and found little tiny globes and thought we'd do the same:

Here we are resting from our long walk at The District:
(the camera was sitting on another bench. hee hee)

The one thing we decided to do to make our 4th anniversary a little silly and fun (plus... more pictures!) is to find things that are in 4s.

We happened to stay on the 4th floor which we thought was cool:

Here are all the things we found that there were 4 of:

4 lounging thingys out by the pool:

4 pillows on the couch:

4 palm trees outside our tower:

4 china cabinets in this hallway (2 in front of me, 2 behind me):

4 awnings:

It was harder than we thought to find 4s but it made walking around a little more interesting. We had a great time and were excited to celebrate 4 years of being married to each other. I couldn't ask for a better husband and father to my kiddos.
Thanks Geoff for the last 4 years of fun and for being my best friend!

Cali's game

Cali cracks us up all the time with her silliness! She loves to play little games and this is one of her favorites. She'll put her hands in the air and then down again (of course we copy her and she thinks that is so cool!). Nothing too crazy but she gets so excited about it and that's what makes it so funny. She was snuggling my Tinker Bell blanket the other day and started playing her game but this time when she'd put her arms down she'd snuggle the blanket. It gave me an chance to get some pictures of it.

I can't believe that it's already been 10 months since little Cali was born! She is growing way to fast and we are so blessed to have her as our daughter. I tried to take some pictures of her today and man... she is one fast little crawler! She'd smile for the camera and then take off crawling away only to pause for a second for more quick smiles and then take off again.

A few things about Cali:
She loves to stand up!
She loves to play with Aedan. She'll follow him all over the house.
She has 6 teeth now... and doesn't want any more (she HATES teething)!
She's a Momma's girl... wherever Mom is, that's where she wants to be.
She's a drama queen! If she doesn't get her way it's instant hysterics! It cracks us up!
She loves adult food... she's so over this baby food stuff.

We sure love our little Cali girl!

Big smiles!

Cali LOVES to smile for the camera! She sees me pull it out and automatically knows what to do. She's such a ham (as my Grandma puts it). :) So, I was really just trying to take a picture of her little outfit and her smile was so big I just had to post it. It cracked me up! I just love this little girl!!

Just to see you smile...

Lately Aedan has not wanted to smile for the camera, he'd rather be behind it taking the pictures. Grrr!! :) Today I got him this cute couch bed for kids and when he saw it he got so excited! He was very excited to show it off to the camera. So, apparently I just need to get him something really cool so he'll smile for the camera.

The couch:
It folds out into a little bed (so cute!!):

Cute cousins

We've been doing dinner and a movie with Geoff's brother Nick, his wife Amy and their daughter Hailey lately. It's been so fun to hang out with them and so cute to watch Cali and Hailey play together. They've gotten along great... except that time Cali clawed Hailey across the face... I'm sure it was an accident. :) Well, this last Thursday I actually remembered to get out my camera and snap some shots of them playing. Look at these two cuties...

They each had their own bag of wipes to play with...

until all of a sudden Cali had both bags! How did that happen? :)
These two are gonna be good friends... we can tell! They really do play good together. I can't wait until Hailey is crawling around with Cali!

Here we are!

This week Cali wore a cute little dress so as usual, I took pictures of it. Aedan was being a little pill and didn't want to get dressed so Geoff showed him how they would be matching today and it helped a little.

Here's Geoff & Aedan matching. Geoff knelt down so Aedan could stand next to him so Aedan thought he should kneel too (he's into copying right now).

Here's Cali and I all ready to go (not matching but that's ok).

Fun with the family

Yesterday Tom (Geoff's brother) & Lyndsey's baby was blessed in church so we went to that and then to their house to hang out with the family. They are moving today so it was our last day to see them for a while. Some of Geoff's family was here from out of town too so it was great to see everyone! I didn't get any pictures of little Brooklyn who was blessed but I got some random other pictures.

We were walking out of church and Aedan saw his cousin Zack and they wanted to walk together out to the car. Zack grabbed Aedan's hand and it was so cute! I pulled out my camera really fast to try to get a picture.

Cali's cousin's Kathryn and Rachel were holding her and she loved it! We don't get to see them very much. :(

This picture it totally random but our nephews Brenden and Josh were laying up the stairs and it looked kinda cool.

Aedan and his cousin Denver snuck outside and climbed onto one of the 4 wheelers out there.

When it was time to leave, Aedan went around the room giving hugs. He won't see his cousins in so long! Here he is hugging Colton and Abby. I think it's hilarious that he squeezes his eyes shut when he gives hugs.

Cali's teeth

Last night Cali was laughing and smiling so I had Geoff grab the camera. I haven't gotten any good pictures of her teeth yet and now all 4 teeth have grown in. I just love her little smile! I loved all of the pictures even though they are pretty much the same.
