Sprinklers

Yesterday the kids ran through the sprinklers in the front yard while my Mom and I were out to dinner with my Grandma. I told Geoff to make sure he took pictures since I wouldn't be there to do it. He said that Aedan LOVED it, as you can see, but Cali wasn't as into it. They both had fun running around and Aedan was soaked by the time they went inside. :)

The Next American Idol

Cali LOVES to sing! She sings no matter where she is or what she's doing. She is great entertainment while I'm driving in the car. :) So, the other day she was singing with one of Maegan's microphones and I had to grab my camera and video camera. She was singing "Old McDonald" which is so cute! She was singing the whole thing but then when she saw the video camera she wanted to come over and be behind it. I had to hold the camera out and get her to forget it was there. So, part of the video she's off to the side a little. :)

Cali bug

Cali put a headband on the other day that had antennae on it. She did it all by herself and thought it was so cool. I just thought it was super cute! She didn't really want to pose for a picture so I just took them while she was playing.

Ring around the Rosie...

Maegan sings "Ring around the rosie" with the kids and they LOVE it!! They sing along and then crack up when it's time to fall down.

Another Library craft...

Taking the kids to the library has been a fun activity! Aedan really loves it but I think Cali might still be a little young because her attention span isn't long enough (unless they are singing songs). She was kinda cranky for this one since it was a mid morning one and was during nap time so I took her picture after her nap when she was happier. They made little flower pots with paper bugs on them.

Fairy Princess

A few days ago Maegan got out some of her fairy wings so I put a pair on Cali and she was flitting around like a little fairy. It was sooo cute! I realized later that I put her wings on upside down. :) Lately Cali has been scrunching up her nose when she smiles and it cracks us up. We think it's pretty cute.

Yesterday Cali was wearing a tiara on her head. She certainly is our little princess. :)

Hurricane Harbor

We went to Hurricane Harbor with Maegan, Nick, Amy, Hailey and Nick's friend Mike on Tuesday. It wasn't very crowded which was great and they have a really fun area for little kids. We explored the other kid area which was pretty cool too but our kids were a little too young so we just stuck to the one spot. The water was FREEZING in their little area so it took them a little while to do more than just stick their feet in but once the sun came out they were more brave. All the adults took turns going on some water slides. It was really fun!!
