Stinkin cute

Yesterday Cali wore this cute little dress to church. She had nothing red to wear except her red sweater that I forgot about until afterwards. Oh well. :) My little sister Maegan came with us and looked so adorable I took a picture of her with Aedan. So cute!

Organization skills

Yesterday the kids took all of my cake, brownie, ect mixes out of our cupboard and they were all over our kitchen floor. So, this morning I was cleaning the kitchen and decided to pick them all up. When I reached in to put the boxes back this is what I found:

I guess Aedan had decided he didn't like how I had put the boxes in there so he put some of them in HIS way. What didn't fit must be what was on the floor. It made me laugh a little so I thought I'd share. :)

Potty training...

Well, with Geoff and the kids being sick... and then me getting sick, I have completely forgotten to update everyone on Aedan's potty training! It took him a while to realize what the heck he was supposed to do on the potty which made for LONG periods of time sitting with him reading books and stuff. Once he actually peed, he had it! It's like a light went on in his head and he was like "oh... that's what I'm supposed to do on this silly seat!" I know this is hard to believe but I DIDN'T get a picture of him peeing for the 1st time. I'm a little bummed but it's ok. :)

So, from then on he would pee on the potty with accidents here and there. His last accident was last Thursday at my sisters house which was pretty funny. He was sitting on her kitchen chair and said "Mom, I need to sit on the potty! I need to pee! I'm peeing on the chair! I'm peeing on the chair!". He didn't make it but was pretty upset about it.

He hasn't had an accident in days now and remembers every time. As he is peeing he always asks "Is that my pee?" and gets excited when he stands up and there it is! We are so proud of him!!

Now, as for "#2"... that's another story! He knows he needs to do that on the potty but refuses to sit to do it. He is so used to standing for that and doesn't want to even try sitting. We rarely have those accidents in his undies though because he does that in pull-ups at nap time. So.... any advice from anyone on how to get this kid to take care of business on the potty??? Please???

Hailey's birthday!

Today is our niece Hailey's 1st birthday! We went out to dinner at Memphis BBQ to celebrate (YUM!!) and it was so fun! Hailey looked so cute in her little dress and we were excited to celebrate with her.

I put Cali's hair in pigtails for the occasion and I ADORE her in pigtails (lets face it... I adore her no matter what!) so I took a bunch of pictures of her. They are mostly the same but with different smiles but I just couldn't decide so I put them all on here.

Yeah!!

Yesterday Aedan actually asked me to take pictures of him which he never does anymore. In fact, when I try to he usually tells me no. So, I took advantage of it and took a bunch of pictures. He was opening and closing his "house" and cracking up. :)

Yesterday morning I heard Aedan in the kitchen being sneaky so I snuck in to see what he was up to. This is what I found:

Morning Exercise

This morning while I was cleaning the kitchen, I turned on some music and we had some dance time. I love watching the kids dance so we have music time kind of often... plus it's good fun exercise for me. :)

Oh, and you'll probably need to pause the music at the bottom of my blog or else you'll have 2 songs going. :)

Nick's birthday fun!

For Nick's birthday (Geoff's brother), his wife Amy planned a pretty fun surprise for him. We went to this place that had big areas that were a bunch of trampolines all together. It was so cool and really fun. The kids had a BLAST!! I think all the guys did too. :) There is a toddler area where the kids jumped and we got to jump with them and since the place wasn't busy at all we had the whole toddler area to ourselves. The guys went into the other area for a while to jump through some hoops and stuff. We had a great time and totally want to take the kids back since it wasn't that much moola.

After jumping, we went to Chevy's for dinner which was super yummy! They sang to Nick and gave him a hat which I put on all the kids to takes pictures. It was a pretty fun night.
