A LITTLE MORE DISNEY FUN

Since we've moved, Geoff has picked up the kids from school and then he's home for the rest of the day working in his office. So I took Aedan and Cali to Disneyland and he kept Em home with him one of our Disney days. It was fun to take them and go on big kid rides. They had a blast and I'm sure Em enjoyed getting Daddy all to herself for a few hours. 

These two take Disneyland VERY seriously. Even though they've been there countless times and know the place better than a lot of people, they still like to grab a map and walk around deciding what to do. I love that they are best buds...

They picked out some swords. Aedan thought his was super cool because it says Jack Sparrow on it. Haha.

Cali wanted to "drive" Mr. Toads car and Aedan hopped in and pretended to sleep. These kids crack me up. All I have to say is if Cali looks like that when she's 16 and driving, I'm scared.

No matter how many times they see the parade, they still love it! They get excited and wave to all the characters. It's fun to watch.

Since we watched the parade right across from Small World, we hopped on right after before the line got crazy.

Here are some random iPhone pictures from the first half of April...

Aedan was playing with the Alphabet & Letter bath toys and put my phone number on the wall (minus a number because there's only one of each). I asked him how he knew my number and he said he'd heard me say it a few times. I was pretty impressed. This is one smart kid. ;)

Em came over, sat on the couch next to Geoff and sat just like him. I cracked up when I saw it...

At school Aedan finished learning about the Statue of Liberty, Bald Eagle, Liberty Bell and American Flag (all that Nation stuff) so they had a project where they had to make a poster of one of those things and then write facts about it. Aedan chose the Liberty Bell and wanted to paint one. So Geoff helped him paint one and he wrote all the facts he remembered...

I've really enjoyed my days with Em. Her and I spend the whole day together while the kids are at school and she is so cool and fun. Sometimes we take silly pictures together...

We went to Old Navy and they gave Em a balloon. You can't tell but she was pretty excited about it. When we got home, we played with it...

I was unloading the dishwasher and Em decided to take some of the dishes and make a little party for her, Ariel and Sofia. Haha

My little shopping buddy. She has her moments where there are tantrums and crazy times but mostly she's pretty good and enjoys going places with me...

While walking around the store one day, Em saw some Minnie Mouse undies and HAD TO have them! I figured since we'd be potty training soonish I might as well get them. When we got her out of the car she had them all around one leg. She must've been pretty excited to wear them. ;)

TWO!

Em turned 2 in April (yes, I'm that far behind). It's crazy that she's gotten so big so fast. For her birthday we had a family dinner with my Mom, Maegan and Grandee.

We started the day teaching Em that she's 2...

Then we decorated a little for the party. I still happened to have last years Minnie decorations and since she still LOVES Minnie I figured I'd just reuse them. She loved it.

When it was time to sing Happy Birthday Em was ready. She climbed right up onto the table next to the cake and stuck her finger in some of the frosting....

She loved her candle and hearing us all sing Happy Birthday...

She also loved eating her cake. It was pretty yummy. ;)

Em was super excited about her presents. She didn't need any help but Aedan and Cali couldn't resist ripping some of the paper so it would go faster.

We got her the cottage from Snow White along with her and the dwarfs. It plays music and she was waving her arms to the song...

She was excited to wear her Minnie pjs that Grandma made her...

and we let her stay up and play with her toys a little before bed. She loved everything!!

 She saw my camera out and thought she needed to take pictures too so she grabbed my phone. She kept saying "cheese!" and pretending to take pictures...
