DISNEY BIRTHDAYS DAY 1

Nick (Geoff's brother), Amy, Hailey and Kayla all came to CA for Nick and Hailey's birthdays so we spent 2 days with them. The first day we spent at Disneyland. I met them there with Em and spent a few hours and then Geoff took Em home to nap while I took Aedan and Cali back to Disneyland. After Em's nap, Geoff and her met us for the rest of the day.

Em and I got there first so we walked around a little...

We found some cool Mickey benches...

We went on the Carousel...

Dumbo...

On the way out I got Em a gingerbread Mickey cookie...

She was a HUGE fan!!

She was so tired she was asleep pretty quick...

The kids wanted to go on Star Tours first...

These two had fun walking around together...

I waited in the Frozen line while everyone else went on a few rides. It's pretty cool!

It was only Anna this time but it was still fun...

Dumbo again...

The Carousel again...

We ran into Peter Pan...

I took the 3 older kids on Star Tours...

Some Storm Troopers tried to join us...

We went to Downtown Disney for dinner to celebrate birthdays. Nick got all the kids balloon characters from the balloon lady and they were so excited!

We got desserts and sang Happy Birthday to Hailey and Nick...

FIRST FEW WEEKS OF FEBRUARY

Here are pictures from the first bit of February...

Em playing with play-do in Nursery at church...

Reading a book at her Dr apt...

Wearing my socks...
(so proud of herself for putting them on by herself!)

Coloring is one of her favorite things to do...

Em was walking with legos on her toes...

Cali's 100th day of school project. She chose 100 snowflakes...

For the 100th day of school the Kindergardeners dressed like they were 100...
(she was a fancy 100 year old lady)

With her teachers...

My pancake helpers...

One of my dear friends Kadee moved out of state so we had a farewell party for her...

DISNEY WITH JUST AEDAN

One of our Disney Thursdays ended up being just Aedan and I. I can't remember why it was just Aedan and I (I think Cali hadn't earned her Disney day and Geoff came home from work so Aedan and I could go). We had a great time going on rides that we don't go on as often. One of his favorites now is Star Tours so that was a must!

Star Tours... so awesome!

He walked everywhere looking at the map. It made me laugh.

Mator's Junkyard Jamboree...

Luigi's Flying Tires...

Haunted Mansion...
(he didn't like it without all the Nightmare Before Christmas decorations)

and a Gingerbread Mickey on the way out...
(it was sooo freakin good!!)

THE REST OF JANUARY

Am I really this far behind? Yes... I am! We've had a lot going on and finding the time to blog has been hard. Now that it's spring break and I've got 2 sick kids, I was able to clean the house really good AND still find some time to blog. Amazing! ;)
So here is the rest of January...

Geoff was working on the car and Em stopped playing in her Merida princess dress to go help. She is a girly girl who doesn't mind getting a little dirty... that's for sure. She and that dress got FILTHY but she loved helping Daddy.

If you grew up in my family, you'd learn that the only real way to eat an olive is on your fingers. My kids are learning that too. Em especially insists on sticking the olive on her finger before she eats it.

Cali's pj pick for the night...

Cali likes to be independent and pick out her own outfits for school. I'm trying to let her but some days are harder than others. Even when I tell her something doesn't go together she still insists she wants to wear it.
A crazy pick...

A cute one...

I tried to take a few pictures with Em one morning....

On the way to school every morning the kids pass by the freeway entrance/exits and see homeless people. We've talked about why they are there and stuff. One day he decided to make a sign like a homeless person and hold it. I think he nailed the sad homeless face. Haha
