AEDAN'S ACTIVITY DAY

All week Aedan talked about "Activity Day" on Saturday. We had no idea what he was talking about but he had big plans. On Saturday morning he was super excited about it so we asked him what he wanted to do. He had a big list so Geoff got out the white board and they wrote it all down (you know, so we wouldn't forget anything).

So we went through all the activities. I think we got to everything except the Legos. It was fun having a family day. I'm not sure what gave Aedan the idea but we're glad he thought of it. Here are some of the things we did...

EARLY 4TH PARTY

A few of my friends have a food website. Geoff just did their website (they switched from blogger to a site or something) and it's pretty awesome. These girls and their recipes are pretty amazing. They did a big 4th of July party (early so they could feature it on the site) and we got invited! It was so fun to see the whole process of creating the posts and everything. I brought a dessert and they loved it so much they asked me to do a post on their blog. Isn't that cool?
Well, we had a great time at the party and I took some pictures of some of the fun we had...

We went to a church picnic at the park and Em had a blast walking around and swinging on the swings...

I got the kids some hats and sun glasses and Geoff and I put them on (the kids thought it was funny). Then we gave it to them and they were super excited....

These guys are all such good friends. They took turns pushing each other around in the wagon. Em just sat there smiling and laughing...

 I've been doing some exercise videos lately. I usually do them while Em is taking her nap but if she's awake she always comes over and lays right on my mat right where I need to be. Or she tries to do the moves with me. Silly girl!

Where do these guys think they're going?

Aedan "couldn't sleep" one night but we told him he needed to go to bed. When we went to go to bed, he was on his couch bed on our bed. Where did he think we were going to sleep?

The kids love to get the little shopping carts at the grocery store. I always have one too so Em has somewhere to sit so we usually have a cart parade going on...
