YUM

Em is doing great with her baby food! She enjoys it so much that she doesn't seem so interested in milk anymore. I guess it tastes boring after all the other yummy flavors she's been eating. :) Her favorite is prunes but she also loves bananas, pears and applesauce. She is not a fan of carrots or peas.

SILLIES

A few silly moments lately...

Lately when it's just us girls and we're on our way home from picking up Cali, I'll hear lots of baby giggles coming from the back seat. When I glance back, I see Cali leaning in to Em's seat and talking/smiling at her and Em thinks it's hilarious!  I love the sound of baby giggles!!

Cali fell asleep on the way to get Aedan recently. She was all hunched down in her seat holding her Capri Sun. I thought it was kinda funny...

Aedan's letter of the week was T so they made a Tiger hat with a bunch of T things on it. He was being silly in the backseat with it on so I took a picture. :)

CALI TIME

I volunteered at Cali's preschool last minute. Geoff had actually volunteered 2 days before so we'd already done it that month but her teacher needed parents to stay if possible because they were doing an earthquake drill and her aid wasn't there to help. So, I talked to Geoff (we had both gone to drop the kids off that day) and he said he could just work from home that day. So, he left me there and took Em home. Luckily I had fed Em right before we left so he fed her some baby food and then she napped while I was gone. She was hungry by the time they came to get us but it actually worked out pretty good (I was a little worried).
It was so fun volunteering in Cali's class! She is loved by all and has lots of friends so it was fun to see. :) It was so much easier to be there and NOT be pregnant like I was last year. I had so much more energy and it was more fun.

CHILLIN

Sometime last week Em woke up from her nap so I went to get her and then just layed on my bed for a few minutes. Cali came in and we just played with Em for a minute...

And me giving Em a kiss. Just for fun. :)

THE STANDING GUYS

While at Old Navy recently, Aedan and Cali went over to the mannequins and were posing with them. They stood there holding perfectly still and Aedan said "we're pretending to be the standing guys". They were both wearing all Old Navy clothes that day too so they totally fit right in. Haha.

LIFE AS A KINDERGARDENER

It's pretty fun having a kid in Kindergarden. Aedan comes home with work that he's done and tells me all about it. He loves doing his homework (how long will that last???) and we've had only excitement about learning spanish! He is doing great and loves school! So... last week he came home from school and I looked through his papers and asked about these two papers that made me smile...

This is him playing with Daddy. I asked if they were wearing hats and he said "No, that's our hair. We both had our hair spikey that day".

We are trying to figure out Aedan's hearing right now. We think he may have gotten my ears on the inside as well as the outside. :) We took him to the hearing specialist and he put him in one of those little soundproof rooms and hooked him up for the tests (ah, the memories of me being in one when I was a kid!). The Dr was so impressed with how good he was! He said that most kids get antsy and impatient in there because it takes a while to do all the testing. Aedan sat there like an angel. I stood at the door peeking in at him and he'd look up and give me a big smile. When he came out he said that was fun. He is such a cute kid!

CARSEAT

This poor girl spends a lot of her day in her carseat. She doesn't seem too upset about it though...

She is so great about it! She is also getting pretty heavy to cart around! She's growing so fast! I just thought this was a cute picture. LOVE her!! :)

DRIVING

Cali, Em and I usually get to Aedan's school a little early. I like to leave with enough time in case of accidents or traffic since we live about 20 minutes away. So we sit in the car and sing songs or play games. On this particular day the girls wanted to drive. Yes, even Em. Scary thought!

P.S. Now that I have a better phone, you just might see a lot more random pictures on here. It's so easy to pull it out and snap a picture. Just warning you...

LITTLE MOMMY

Cali is great with Em! She loves to help take care of her and play with her. So, when I walked into Grandma's playroom a few weeks ago and saw this, I wasn't surprised. :)

SITTING UP

While we were at Grandma's a few Sunday's ago, we sat Em on the floor to play and she actually stayed up! It only lasted for a few minutes but we thought it was pretty great. :)
