Pioneer Day

We went to a Pioneer Day hoopla with Lisa and Wade last night. They had a ton of food, games, and those blow up thingys. It was over in the area of town where my little brother is right now and he was there so I got to see him and talk to him for a few minutes. We got a picture with him. I was hoping we'd get some pictures with Lisa and Wade playing some games but we didn't end up staying as long as I wanted to so we just got the one with Kev. It was so great to see him as always. I sure love my lil bro!

Cali standing up

Well, I've been slacking in the picture department for a while! The other day I took some pictures of Cali standing up on the couch. She started standing up pretty much right after she started crawling. She will stand up on anything possible and has gotten a few bonks on the head because of it but that seems to be her favorite thing to do right now.

Grandee's Birthday!!

Monday was my Grandma's 77th birthday!! Since they were in Las Vegas we all got to celebrate with her by going to The Cheesecake Factory! It was super yummy!

Happy Birthday Grandee!!

Heart of the Ocean

Cali is 9 months old!! I can't believe how fast she is growing . She now has 4 teeth (2 bottom, 2 top), is crawling all over the place so fast I can't keep up with her, and is climbing up on everything. She is so happy and loves to clap. She's even starting to dance to music!! I love when kids do that. :)
So, today she wore an extra special dress, from her Great-Grandma that I fell in love with the second I saw! She had so many people comment on how cute it was today that I knew I wasn't alone in thinking this must be the cutest dress I think I've ever seen! :)

She's showing you her shoes:

"Can you see my teeth yet?"

Swimming with Grandma

My mom, little sister and Grandma are in town this week watching my sister's kids. My mom asked me to come over and swim with all the kids so we went. I was shocked when my Mom AND Grandma came out ready to swim (they are slightly shy in swimsuits). We had a great time swimming around!

Grandma was a big hit with the kiddos:

Cali's 1st swim

We went over to Lisa's apartments for a swim and had the whole huge pool all to ourselves!! I brought my little camera to the pool to take pictures and it was on the wrong setting (didn't even check!) so these pictures are totally overexposed and washed out. I'm pretty bummed since it was the 1st time Cali went swimming but what you can see is cute so I'm posting them anyways. She really enjoyed the pool mostly just chillin but every few minutes she'd splash the water a little. Aedan had a great time splashing and swirling around (with me).

BBQ Fun!!

On Tuesday we had a bbq/swim party with some of Geoff's family. Peter, Brandi and family from Idaho were visiting and it was so fun to see them! We got to meet Zoe who is 2 months older than Cali and super cute! All the guys threw a football around in the pool and us girls just sat around talking and watching them.

Miss Patriotic

Cali wore a very patriotic dress to church yesterday and looked so cute! I had a hard time deciding which pictures to post so there's a bunch. :)

Our 4th of July

Our 4th of July was pretty laid back. We went to a yummy breakfast at the church to start off the day. We all wore red, white & blue and the kids looked so cute:

Yummy breakfast:

That night we had Nick, Amy & Hailey (Nick is Geoff's brother) come over for a delicious bbq and some Wii fun. Geoff made yummy burgers and we had some awesome potato salad my mom had made while she was visiting, some grilled corn, watermelon, chips and soda. The typical yummy bbq! Geoff and I spent the day making yummy treats for after dinner too!

Wii fun:

It was such a fun night! Plus, all the kids ended up going to sleep so we could have some fun with just the adults! I totally forgot to have someone take a picture of ME playing the Wii but that's ok. :) Thanks Nick and Amy for a fun night!! :)

The next Mike Tyson

Aedan love playing the Wii with us and we can't help but crack up when he "boxes" with us. We make a big deal out of it and cheer him on and he just loves to swing those controls around. Here's a video of it (please ignore the mess... typical Saturday morning).
