On Friday we went to he Sacramento Temple and Apple Hill which was a really cool place! The temple grounds were really pretty and we were amazed when we saw wild turkeys roaming. Lots of them! I tried to get a picture on our way out but I think they heard me talking about Thanksgiving because they were nowhere in sight. :)
At Apple Hill there were apple orchards and you could walk around little craft booths and buy a ton of different things made with apples including homemade apple pies (Grandpa bought one that we had for dessert that night... YUM!) We ate lunch by the pond which was super yummy since Grandpa made his tuna salad sandwiches that we all love. There was a little playground where the kids played for a few minutes too. It was pretty cool and the trees were so pretty with their fall colors!
