9TH ANNIVERSARY

Each year we get more and more excited about our anniversary and each year we can't believe how fast it's gone and how many years it's been. We know how unbelievably lucky we are to have each other and to have such an amazing family. We love it!

We started by going out to lunch with the kids. Aedan spent about 20 minutes telling us about his dream. It took forever and he was sooooo energetic about it! We debated whether or not it was actually a dream or if he made up half of it just to keep talking. Haha! Love this kid!!

Geoff gave me a beautiful bouquet of flowers! It smelled amazing and had daisies in it... my fav!!

We stopped and got some Thrifty's....

Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy again...
(we LOVE that movie!)

For dinner we went to The Melting Pot. We love this place and my favorite part is the chocolate fondue of course! ;) I tried to take as many pictures as possible just for fun...

While we were gone, Em did Grandma's hair...

My roses bloomed beautifully a few days later...

AUGUST

This is one crazy long post! Lots of little moments and other things happened in August and we had a fun month...

Em dressed up as a frilly spider girl...

We went to the OC Fair with Lisa & Wade...

Em fell asleep reading her book...

Swimming with friends...

Aedan had his first sleep over!!

Cali made a block tower for her mini princesses...

Em loves putting random hair things in her hair and she INSISTED that my hair clips belong in her hair...

She wanted to push the cart at costco....

The kids learned to clean the bathroom...

The girls got matching Minnie pjs...
(Aedan was trying to photo bomb them)

Popsicles...

little tea party in their pjs...

Aedan accidentally rolled the watermelon off the table. Oops!

The kids enjoy their reading time before bed. So do I...

Sometimes she likes to read books to herself and when she does she has something on every page she has to point out to me. "Look Mom!"...

Cali: "Who wants to buy a cookie? They cost 4 pennies. Real ones." Me: "You want me to give you real pennies but you're going to give me a fake cookie? Is this a trick?"

Cali dressed up as a bride so Em wanted to also. The only other veil we have is a Minnie one so of course her Minnie dress is the appropriate dress! Haha

Earrings...

Cali read a story with Em and after each page Em gave Cali a hug. Cali was cracking up and Em kept hugging tighter and tighter...

Cali dressed herself in Barbie clothes at Target...

Em's exercise before bed...

Cali went to a Princess party...

Sometimes I don't get much done because of her but she's so super cute and fun that I love it anyways...

I got a headache so Geoff took over entertainment for the evening...

The girls were taking turns wrapping up in Em's blankets and then yelling "Help me! Help me!"

My little helpers. They each insisted on carrying a bag...

Some more fun and games with Daddy...

 "I'm ready to go Mom!"

Playing at the park...

All dressed up with nowhere to go. The life of a princess...

She packed her backpack and lunch box for days after school started and would say "I'm ready to go Mom!"

Cali's crazy outfit she wanted to wear. Polka dots and Stripes. Some days I guess I just need to pick my battles...
