MOTHER'S BEACH

My Mom wanted to take Lily to the beach since she was here so on Friday we all headed over to Mother's Beach. It was pretty awesome! It had a bay type beach (no waves), a playground, a grassy area and bathrooms. We had a great time. The kids played in the water, with the sand and played on the playground with Lily (she didn't want to go in the water).

She put her floaties on so she could go a little deeper...

She even fell over into the water and kept going...

I sat her where it was the shallowest...

(the deeper water made me nervous since I was trying to keep an eye on the other two at the same time)

I showered Em off and then she had some fishies...

4TH OF JULY

We had no plans for this holiday so we decided to just spend it as a family. We went swimming (the kids loved having Daddy there to swim with them!)...

We decided to go out to lunch because we didn't feel like making anything. There's a Rubio's and Togo's right next to each other so we went there. It was a yummy lunch...

Then we had to go get ice cream! It was a nice warm summer day and Thrifty's ice cream is the BEST thing for that...

Totally blurry but this is how she'd walk over for more ice cream...

Geoff took Aedan and Cali swimming while I gave Em a bath. She LOVES her baths! If anyone is in the bath (or shower) she walks over and starts trying to take her shirt off (she can't do it yet but she makes that grunting sound like she's trying SOOO hard!). She had so much fun having the bath all to herself. She splashed and splashed even after most of the water was gone...

When they got back, we threw the kids in the bath real quick and headed out for some fireworks. We just went over by the high school near us and watched them but the kids thought it was fun...
