Michelle and Stella came for a visit and Disneyland was a must! Last time we had such a great time that we had to go together again. Geoff worked from home for the day so Em could stay with him for some good nap time and I could just take the older 2 with us. They met us after her nap. It was perfect! It was super fun and somehow going to Disneyland with Michelle is even more magical than usual. To start our day we took a picture in front with all the Halloween pumpkins...
When we got into the park, we saw Minnie but at the same time we saw Mickey and Pluto come out so I waited for Minnie while the kids and Michelle followed Mickey over to take pictures....
Silly Pluto!
After taking pictures with Mickey and Pluto, they came back just in time to take a picture with Minnie. We decided to all get in together...
We took some pictures with the HUGE Mickey pumpkin. We were facing the sun. Can you tell? :)
We headed over to the kid rides. The girls kept hugging and I'm sure you can guess by Aedan's face how he felt about being pulled into the hugs. Haha
On the Storybook ride, the girls got to sit on the very front of the boat! Oh, and Stella happened to bring the same exact shirt and capri's that Cali has so the girls were twins for the day. So fun!
These two had a blast running around the park together...
The Haunted Mansion looks awesome this time of year and Michelle and Stella wanted to go on it so we got in line. The kids were so nervous to go on it! Stella braved it out and went on it but my two decided at the last minute not to. I knew they'd be scared so I was ok with that. Plus... they hadn't seen The Nightmare Before Christmas yet! Michelle got it for the kids since then and they LOVE it and can't wait to go on the ride now.
After Michelle and Stella went on the ride we had some lunch and then waited to see Jack himself! Sally wasn't with him but it was still pretty cool to see him!
Cali didn't want to go on Pirates of the Caribbean so I stayed with her and we took a few pictures while we waited...
We headed back over to the kid rides and on the way we were walking by the castle. Mary Poppins was dancing with Bert (a blonde one... lame!) and some chimney sweeps. She came right over and grabbed Stella to dance with her and Stella made sure Cali came too. Aedan wasn't interested (maybe he thought Mary was pretty and was a little shy?) but the girls had a blast dancing with Mary! Seriously magical...
She even hugged them!
While we were there, we took some pictures of the kids in front of the castle...
and then I looked over towards Snow White's wishing well and there was Cinderella's fairy godmother!! I'd never seen her before so I pointed her out to Michelle and we raced over to see her before other people noticed. She talked to the kids and took a picture with her...
Stella took a picture of Michelle and I in front of the castle. She's got some skills like her Momma. ;)
Dumbo was next...
and then the Circus Train...
When Geoff and Em came to meet us Em wanted to push the kids in their strollers...
We took a few more pictures in front of the castle...
and then it was time for the parade...
Since we were right by Small World, we hopped on right after the parade.
Geoff, Michelle and the older kids went on Nemo's Submarine ride (Em and I are not fans of being in a submarine so we sat it out) and we had just enough time to race over to Buzz light year and go on it before they closed for the Halloween party night.
On the ride home, the kids were OUT within minutes. They were exhausted from their super fun day!
On Saturday we went swimming and the kids had the pool all to themselves!
We went to the beach right before sunset. The kids ran around, played in the sand, wrote their names, and we even saw some dolphins closer than I've ever seen them in the ocean! It was awesome!
On the way home, we stopped at Thrifty's because Michelle and Stella had never been there and just had to try it. ;)
On Sunday we played games and the kids played dress up...
The next morning Em wanted to play dress up...
We had such a great time with them and miss them tons! We can't wait for our next Douglas/Sallay Disney adventure!
