Aedan has been wanting to decorate for Christmas for weeks! We decided Sunday would be the day. After church Geoff got out all our Christmas stuff. We let the kids put the ornaments on the tree by themselves which means they are all in little groups at the bottom of the tree. I put a few on top but that's pretty much it. We left it that way. I haven't taken a picture of the whole tree yet because I need to finish putting the other stuff on it but here's what I got...

SWEATER DRESSES
I love sweater dresses! I think they are so cute! I got 2 for Cali recently and she looked so cute in one of them on Sunday. Aedan also wanted to take some pictures. :)

CHRISTMAS PARTY
Saturday night we went to our wards Christmas party. The kids were SUPER excited to wear their Christmas shirts! The party was pretty fun. There was all kinds of goodies as well as hot chocolate and hot apple cider. Yum! There was also a special visitor who came to see the kids. :)
When it was time for Santa to visit the kids all sang a Christmas song to bring in the Christmas spirit. It was pretty cute...
After the party, "Santa" came over and told us that when he went to leave (as Santa) Aedan ran over and asked him "Where did you park?" so he told him he parked on the roof. We had a good laugh. (Sometimes Aedan asks people where they park or what kind of car they have. He's totally a car kid!)

I HELPED!
My cousin and his wife are having a baby boy soon. They are totally into Star Wars, Star Trek, Ect. So, they are decorating the baby's room in Wookie the Chew (I hadn't heard of it but it's a Star Wars version of Winnie the Pooh) but there aren't anything except pictures. So, my Mom and I made her baby stuff. I helped cut stuff, sewed a little, ironed on one of the wookies and even made a big long ruffle that was the hugest pain in the bum but turned out great! I took some pictures of the finished product (mostly Mom's work). I was excited to learn a few new things while helping.

GINGERBREAD HOUSE
This year we made a gingerbread house! The kids were so excited and asked us every day when we'd be making it. Friday night was the night!

CAN WE TAKE PICTURES?
Maybe the kids have noticed the lack of picture taking lately? Last week we got home from preschool and the kids started running around outside posing and saying "Can we take pictures?". So, I told them I'd run upstairs and grab the camera. They told me where they wanted to be and I just took the pictures...
