Orange County Fair!

We haven't gone to the OC Fair in a few years and I was so excited to go this year! This one is much smaller than the L.A. Fair so I prefer it. Lisa & Wade were in town (yipee!!) so we went with them and a few other friends. We took our traditional Old Fashioned Photo and ate some totally unhealthy but super yummy fair food! They had a place called "Fun Zone" for kids so we let the kids play in there for a while. There was a HUGE sand box and the kids loved playing in the sand. Geoff and Wade made a sand pyramid that turned out pretty cool (all the kids came up to them telling them it was the coolest sand thing they've ever seen). They had a few little cars sitting in some sand outside the building and the kids loved "driving" those. Here are the pictures...

We were Pirates this year!! Aedan leaned over to me and said "Mom! I have a sword!!" He thought he was so cool. Cali tried to snag my gun until she saw that she got her own. She seems to hold it pretty good... scary!

The kids in their sunglasses...

Just a cute picture of Cali chillin...

The FUN ZONE!!!

Addiction

I think Thrify's ice cream has become an addiction for me. Not good for the diet but oh so yummy!! :) We took the kids there last night and they both got the cotton candy flavor. It was so bright and messy but they loved it! Luckily they were both wearing shirts that were already stained so they could get as messy as they wanted and it was fine. I loved their colorful happy faces

Eeyore love

At Kohl's right now the books and animals are Winnie the Pooh which is super cute! Cali saw the Eeyore stuffed animal and fell in love! She gave it the hugest hug and ran over to me. I couldn't resist buying it for her (it was only $5) and now she goes to sleep with it at night and for naps. She loves it! Yesterday I got some pictures of her hugging and kissing her Eeyore.

Grandma's shoes

Cali LOVES shoes!! I've probably mentioned it before but I don't think I've gotten the point across. I mean... she said SHOE before she even said Mom!! This girl LOVES her shoes!! She puts on any pair she sees no matter who's they are. She'll stop whatever she's doing and put them on and she insists on putting her own shoes on every day. I can't help her.
She was pretty excited about Grandma's shoes yesterday and put them on. All she needs is a fancy dress and she'd be set!

This Sunday...

I decided to post pictures of Aedan! Cali was so cranky and tired that I put her down for a nap and stayed home from church with her. Aedan went to church with Geoff and he looked so handsome in his new shirt and tie from Grandma that I decided it was about time he had a post all to himself about how cute he looked! :)

Mustache

My Mom maid cupcakes with chocolate frosting for a friends birthday and gave the kids some. Aedan licked off his frosting and when he was done he totally looked like he had a mustache! I thought it was pretty silly.

Eyes and Ears

The other day my Mom was asking Cali all of her body parts (eyes, ears, ect) which she has known for a little while and I realized that when Aedan learned his I did a post about it and I haven't done that with Cali yet. So, I took pictures of my Mom asking and then later asked her again myself for some pictures.
Cali is saying tons of words now and is starting to talk in little sentences and it is crazy to me that I have 2 kids that talk now.
Here are some of Cali's body parts:
Eyes:

Nose:

Mouth:

Ears:

Tummy/Belly Button:

Teeth:

and toes! She LOVES her toes!!

Daddy & Mommy

The other morning the kids came in our room while I was cleaning. Aedan laid down and said "We're the Daddy and Mommy. I'm the Daddy and Cali is the Mommy." He closed his eyes and pretended to sleep and Cali copied him. they both thought it was hilarious! I just wonder where they get the idea that to be Daddy and Mommy means you sleep. :)
